It's a quiet no-through road. Street parking is almost always available within 50m of the building and a yearly parking permit is available from the council. With just 5 apartments in the building so not that many people. Hello :) We have a spare room in our top floor duplex apartment. The apartment is modern and homely with 180' city & harbour views and large balcony terrace. Ours is a small friendly block with just 4 units and is newly renovated with wooden floorboards throughout, Smeg kitchen fittings & rainforest shower. The room available is a double bedroom with built-in wardrobe and private balcony, the bathroom shares with just one other. Room can be partly furnished if you wish. Central aircon. No pets sadly - the landlord won't allow it. We're located halfway between the city and the beach. The 389 bus stops just outside which takes 15 mins to CBD or the other direction to Bondi in about the same time. 5 mins walk to Oxford st bars, markets, shopping, restaurants and endless yoga, crossfit, F45 etc studios. Our home is always stocked with food, wine & netflix. We are pretty chilled people and can hang out together or do our own thing. We work fulltime in corporate, so we're pretty busy during the week. Rent excludes bills which normally cost around $130 per quarter per person for gas, electricity, unlimited wifi and netflix. We also have a cleaner every fortnight which costs $30 each. Sorry, but the room is not suited to couples based on size of the house and we think over 30's will feel more at home with the house atmostphere. Great spot for short term in Paddington. The room is certainly on the 'cosy' side so it likely isn't the dream room for the long term, happily the house is great and the housemates are better. Super convenient location with buses to the city and Bondi Junction just up the road. Lots of pubs/cafes and eating options in a 5-10min stroll and the stadium is across the road.
