Furnished room in a share house

Hi! We are looking for a clean & responsible person to move into this furnished room! Must be considerate of others & willing to help with their share of cleaning. The room is $1174 PCM (270 per week) which includes wifi-internet (ADSL2) Which is pretty good, and utilities (electricity, water and gas). This is a good deal so we would like someone that is responsible with usage and doesn't leave things on and take it for granted. The rest of the house is furnished, there are large living room and dining areas downstairs and many quality appliances that you are free to use. These include a washer, dryer and dishwasher. Located in one of the best locations in Richmond & very close to the popular Friends of Mine, tram stop and Burnley train station. It's a short walk to the great shops and cafes/restaurants in Swan St and Bridge Rd. Only five minutes by train to the city and Swinburne University, so would also suit an international student. You will be sharing the house with 3 females. Female professional or International students are preferred. Please note: Not a party house. We would like someone who is respectful of other housemates, helps keep things clean & someone who contributes their fair share of shared household items, If this isn't you, please do not apply. ********************* $1174 Per calendar month, payable at start. $1000 Bond to secure the room - if you are keen, maybe have cash ready (or half the bond) when you visit :) ***** 10 minutes to the city via train Great for Students Right near tram stop and Burnley train station

Room in a share house

Hey guys, Up for rent is my room in a two-bedroom workers cottage in Richmond. The house has two bedrooms inside and one bedroom outside, one bathroom, a kitchen, a lounge room and small dining room area. It's a little old but super convenient and pretty cool place to stay. The backyard is mostly concrete and backs onto a laneway. There's a clothesline, a small space for bbqs, a mini shed and a small garden where you can grow a couple of things. There's no parking, however we do have a permit for the street. The property is just a two minute walk to tram stop 23 (Opposite IGA, trams 12 & 109) which take your directly to the city or Box Hill. Nearby are a couple of cool cafes including Hector's Deli, Brother Burnley, Supreme Coffee and 8 Layers. Victoria Gardens (Ikea, Kmart, Coles) is a 5 minute walk away. It's also close to the Little Vietnam part of Victoria St which means banh mi starts from $3.50. The bills are paid monthly into the house account organised by Chris. We usually pay $950 inclusive of bills, however in the warmer months the price goes down a bit. The bills are paid one month in advance, so I've paid December already. We'll work out the price from the date you move in and then your first monthly bill will be due January 12th. The bond is $869 (1 month's rent). You'll transfer this to me and sign the bond transfer form before you move in and then bond will be transferred into your name with the RTA. I think that's everything. Feel free to ask for more details. Please add a little bit about yourself in your message and some available time slots to check out the place. Cheers :) Joe ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chris: My absolute favourite thing about this place is the vegetable garden and the delights it produces. On the menu in the next few months are snow peas, broccoli, beetroot, carrot, spring onion, garlic and all the herbs. The backyard is generally great for barbecues, especially being in an ideal location. All house things are included, you only need to bring stuff for the room. The location is ideal being walking distance from Vic Gardens (Coles, Ikea, Kmart, nice shops), The Hive (Woolies, Aldi, Asian grocer) and plenty of cafes and pubs. There are a few cons about this place which I should mention so I don't waste your time. If you're looking for modern living, this is not the place for you. It's not renovated and has more of a 70s Brunswick feel than 2017 Richmond. It's reasonable cold in winter and gets hot in summer based on the non-optimal insulation situation. Also, the lease is being renewed at the end of August for 6 months, then after that it depends on whether the owners are ready to redevelop to see if we get another extension. All that said, if you're after practicality, location and price, then this place is rad. I love it.

The house is a 2BR 1 bathroom single-storey Victorian terrace that comes with a herb garden, a little backyard shed, and a small courtyard for entertaining. It is nice and toasty during winter thanks to gas heating. Your room will be empty but the rest of the house is furnished (the dining table and some bookcases will go with my departing housemate, but I’m happy to source replacements unless you already have these). The room is about 3.5m x 3.2m, so comfortably fits a queen-sized bed, bookcase or two, desk, and bedside table. It has a nice sunny window and timber floors. We’re really close to Burnley Station, 15 min walk from Richmond station and tram stops for route 70 and 75 and about a million cafes, bars and parkland. We are also walking distance to nightlife spots on Swan street but far enough that we don't hear anything :)

Unfurnished room in a share house

Hey guys, We are on the hunt for a housemate to come join us. The room we have up for grabs is the biggest room in the house. Would easily fit a king bed if that’s your thing with plenty of space for whatever else floats your boat or maybe not that much space if you own several cupboards and mountains stuff. Unfortunately there isn’t cupboards in the room but has heaps of space to add drawers/ cupboards, for whatever you need to store your stuff in. It’s also got a really cute ordimental fire place. The house is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom with separate toilet and separate laundry, house. We are right off Lennox street in Richmond. Close to Victoria st trams and lots of yum Vietnamese food. Also a short stroll to bridge road and church street trams. We have a massive back yard that we are currently making into a weekend dream. It’s soon going to have a pool (big kiddie pool) which will be perfect for a low key Sunday sesh and also plenty of space if you want to start a veggie patch. The yard is absolutely awesome to hang out in if the weather is good, couple of big trees for shade and also a big sunny spot if your into laying in the sun. We both sit outside a fair bit so there’s generally always someone to chat to / listen to music with. In saying that about the yard, it is pretty big and does require some maintenance and we would bloody LOVE someone that wouldn’t mind getting their hands dirty and doing a bit of gardening. Harriet and I have done most of the work already but does require a few weeds being pulled out here and there. We are pretty minimal tidy people. The house is furnished but could use extra furniture if you have some. Our current house mate that is leaving will be taking the kitchen table so if you have one great, if not, nothing gum t can’t sort out for us. We are more than happy to add new furniture and decor in communal areas if you do have furniture you would like to add 100% happy to discuss but to an extent (definitely don’t need to be over decorating) I only say this due to past situations ha! We like to live pretty clean, not total clean freaks though, we definitely are looking for someone that respects that, cleans up after themselfs and is happy to be involved in a small cleaning roster. Again nothing too extreme, just so the floors and benches get cleaned and bins go out etc! We would love someone who is happy to have a chat and a wine occasionally but we also completely respect yours personal space/time. We truly don’t want to live with a stranger. If you sit in your room constantly we probably won’t be the best match. We understand it’s hard to move into an established home and we do genuinely want you to feel at ease here and us with you! Rent for the room is $1083 PCM (250 week) paid monthly The bond is $1380 (yes this isn’t ridiculous and we are well aware but we also have paid this obscene amount). Internet is, $5 a week, bills and water are on top of rent and are split evenly between the 3 of us. I also have a visitors car permit if you need parking.
