The house is a terrace right around the corner from South Melbourne Market, and right next to the number 96 tram line between St Kilda and the City. See below the room details for some more info about the property. Room 1 is a large upstairs bedroom, suitable for either a single or couple, with ample storage (so much that we might borrow some of it) and veranda overlooking the street. This room is available for a long term stay (3-12+ months), and we can discuss how it will become furnished. Bills are estimated to be around $20 each per week, but depend on usage. Room 2 is a smaller upstairs bedroom, available for the month of January and suitable for someone looking for a room in that time frame. This room has no in-built storage, but is big enough for some free-standing, and there is storage space elsewhere in the house. A bed will be provided. Spacious rooms and plenty of natural light, especially in the communal areas, as well as front and back verandas and a courtyard. Arrangements should be possible for bicycle storage. Potential for council street parking permit, but can't guarantee. The available bedrooms won't be furnished (with the exception of Room 2 bed), but we will provide the rest of the appliances and furniture in the house, including fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and TV etc. The house doesn't have a pool or air conditioning, but does have ceiling fans in each bedroom. The kitchen features a gas stove and plenty of bench space (which we are very much looking forward to!). Those with pets are welcome to apply, but approval will be at the landlord's discretion. The outdoor space of the house is fairly small, so would be unsuitable for animals requiring large spaces. Extra notice will be needed for inspections before Jan 7. We will have a netflix account accessible on the TV.
