Hi, I’m Sophie.

I’ve been living in a unit that I own by the beach for the last 7 years and have been getting the message for a while that it’s time to change things up. I've recently sold my house and am embarking on a journey to live more communally.

I'm seeking a share house with people who value kindness, authenticity, and sustainable living. My longer term goal is to move to an intentional community and in the meantime, am looking to share with other community-minded people who hold similar values.

I'm 45, single and don't have kids. I’m a sensitive soul and on the quieter side - an ambivert, you could say. I enjoy being out in nature, visiting cafes, going to the cinema and local theatre, farmers markets, listening to podcasts and youtube, reading, board games, puzzles, and dancing. I'm a deep thinker and curious about life. I love chats about things like culture, history, spirituality, ecology, relationships, holistic health etc.

I’ve lived in a variety of share house situations over my life - large and small, including with partners. For me, home is a sanctuary and a place to unwind and recharge away from the busyness of the world. I like spaces that are cared for, cosy, and colourful. I value relationships a lot and like to be friends with my housemates, sharing a cuppa and a chat regularly while also valuing alone time.

I have a lot of life experience and these days enjoy simple living, taking time to appreciate the small things in life. I'm health conscious and use as few chemicals, prefering to clean with natural products. I'd like to live with people on the same page about this.

Finally to mention, I have a 13-year old cat called Biscuit who travels through life with me. She is quiet, house trained and very gentle.
