I'm: - a student and a casual worker - studying at Flinders University (and looking for a place nearby) - seeking for an unfurnished room - to move in a queen double bed and accessories - with a car to park - reliable, friendly and neat - down to Earth - good looking :D Thank you for visiting my profile! Hey~ I'm Daniel - I'm 23 years old. Born and raised in the south. I'm currently working casual as a Bottleshop Attendant. I'm about to start my first year of studying Medical Science at Flinders University. I've previously rented twice - with friends. I'm reliable, as I always pay rent on time and I have references to show. I'm organized, respectful and cordial. :) I'm trying to find a solace in company. I'm quite fond of cleanliness and a bit of peace and quiet. :) I like living in communal environments - being around those of similar ways. I enjoy creating art in my free time or finding my way out in the world. Living in a household where everyone feels comfortable is of paramount to me! I can't stand drama. :) My interests are: sights, colours (ugh, black?), the shoulder of Orion - for which attack ships are on fire, the meaning of semantics and any teapot in orbit around Sol between Earth and Mars. Oh, and some heavy muses too. In other words: photography, abstract, astronomy, sci-fi, philosophy, metal \m/ and other miscellaneous stuff. :) Don't hesitate to give me a message if you're interested! So thank you! And take care! :)
I (BB) am originally from Adelaide but have been working overseas for a travel company for a couple years now. I am back home to work at the fringe festival and would ideally like a furnished short-term place for the duration of the festival within walking distance of the Garden. I am great to live with because I'm super easy going, always down for a laugh yet mindful of other peoples space and maintaining cleanliness.
Hi I'm Mia, - I moved to Adelaide from Melbourne one year ago. - I'm single with no car, or pets and I don't smoke (but I'm fine with this - smoking and pets). - I don't have any furniture except a small desk for studying but it doesn't have to come with me if you already have one in the room (I'd prefer a furnished room). - I have a push bike that is quite valuable so I would prefer to keep it inside/undercover. - I'm social and friendly, I like to catch up with housemates and share a drink/meal every now and then. - I study law part-time at Adelaide Uni (two nights per week) and work also full time so I am always quite busy. Looking to move near Adelaide Uni. - Willing to pay up to 200 pw if this includes bills/utilities/internet & laundry facilities (without having to go to laundromat). - Price pw & length of stay is negotiable. I look forward to hearing from you :-)
Irish, 35, living in the U.K. since 2004 (university, then work). I'm coming to Adelaide to work as a doctor in Calvary Wakefield ICU until August so I'm looking for something for roughly 6 months. Interests include current affairs (you're more likely to find me reading an issues of the Economist than a medical journal!), travel (60+ countries so far; the usual popular ones plus some slightly left-of-field choices like Cuba, Lebanon, Armenia and North Korea!) and exercise (more a desire than an interest - definitely want to improve this a lot during my time in Adelaide but I like to play squash and swim). Looking for a fairly sociable space (but not party central) to move into - my last flat share with was with 5 others and had an average age of 28 to give you an idea! Also looking for a location close to the city centre or nearby with good public transport links. Non-smoker. Finally, I've been living in Edinburgh for the past 6 years so I'm really looking forward to comparing your Fringe festival to theirs!
Howdy future flatmate, I'm Grace and I'm seriously seeking out some independence. I lived abroad in France for a year in 2016 and have now spent almost a year back in the rents house in Adelaide. (Needless to say, I'm keen to move out again). Studying full time (enrolled for uni SA Bachelor of urban and regional planning) and working part time. I like having my own space and time to myself, but also would enjoy being a part of a friendly house that shares some time together. I’m considerate and clean and absolutely happy to help out around the house. I love animals but have none, however considering a fish (subject to whether I can keep a plant alive, tbc.) Relevant fun facts: Earliest move in date February 2018, I play no musical instruments, have a car but would prefer to use public transport or walk (if convenient), vego-curious, spends some nights at boyfriend’s place, would like to improve my cooking skills, Irrelevant fun facts: I speak fluent French, love standup comedy, don’t like sitting on public transport when its busy, enjoy skyping friends abroad, and known for being indecisive but working on it :) My year abroad gave me experience in house sharing (so not a complete amateur). I'm not really looking for a party house but i'd like to feel comfortable having friends around. I’m super keen to find a good fit and for this experience to work out well for everyone involved. Overall, I’m uber accepting of others an I’m just looking for an easygoing household to be a part of. Look forward to meeting you! Grace xx
I'm a 26 year old from Adelaide working full time in the lead up to the festival season. Looking for somewhere to feel homely during the busiest time of the year! Flexible and open to any household situations, would be great to team up for the short term until the end of March if possible :)
Hey, I'm Allie, a recently language graduate from Manchester. My boyfriend and I moved over to Australia back in October, and we are currently travelling around and working as we go. We're currently looking for a place in Adelaide from mid-Feb until the end of March as we will be working in the city. Central is preferable, otherwise somewhere with great public transport links. We both love to meet new people. Sociable, non-smokers, friendly and respectful of any host we stay with along the way!
I'm a emerging artist, looking for some where to live close to the city. I am quiet and considerate of my actions, keeping noise down or noticing when to give someone their space. I have my own furniture I can bring if needed. I even have some nice couches and tv table if you're wanting to furnish the house. I don't mind being given tasks on the spot, especially if it's a challenge. Been told by friends that I'm humorous, sensitive and focused.
I'm formerly from Adelaide and was a leaseholder in Melbourne while studying, so I understand the responsibilities of establishing a home and sharing it. I'm mature and independent but enjoy people and a balance of conversation and alone time. I have a lovely female Malamute dog, 6 yrs old, who is good around adults (not young children) and most other dogs, and we'll be looking for a household of people who like dogs and don't mind her coming inside sometimes or always (where she'll lie around and sleep a lot!). I am a creative person, have raised a great family, spent time recently studying for a teaching qualification and am happy to enjoy life quietly until a permanent job eventuates. I'd like to live near a beach or other dog-friendly off-lead places for walking- I may do some casual work so will be especially happy to find a place where my dog is comfortable to stay when I'm out doing shifts. I'm a bit green, I like bikes, whole foods and all that jazz, but I'm very much 'live and let live'; I get along with all ages, am tidy, friendly and easy-going. Cheers.
Hi there, My name is Petr (pronounced simply Peter in English), I'm a 29 years old European guy, working a full-time 9-5 job. Been in my job for a decade, living all over the place (London, Munich, Singapore, Vancouver BC), a mixture of house sharing and my own rented places. I'll be in Adelaide for at least a year, but looking for a possibly shorter house sharing commitment to start with and see how it goes. Need a place from early February, pretty flexible regarding the exact date. My job's working hours tend to be a bit longer and I'm a cinema freak, so I won't always be home on weekday evenings. A gym-goer, non-smoker, occasionally up for a drink. Not so much into cooking, but might do some. I typically enjoy nature and hiking, though not sure about it here with some of the scary wildlife, haha! When at home, my guess would be that I'll spend less time in common areas and more time in my room. Cheers!
My name is Martina and I'm from Argentina. I'm arriving in September in Australia to get out of my comfort zone and begin my own adventure. I'm nice, very simple, very neat, a bit shy at first perhaps but once I get comfy I don't stop laughing (specially with bad jokes) and I'm very nice. Easy to live with, never getting into a fight or something silly. I studied Tourism & Hospitality so being friendly and hospitable is part of my self. I'm looking forward to getting to know the country and it's culture.
We are a couple from Manila, Philippines, migrating in South Australia on March 2018. We are well organised, friendly, and easy to get along with. We are looking for a furnished private couple room for rent with internet and bills included. We are hoping to find a house that are near the bus stops, train stations, supermarkets, and restaurants.
Hi Guys, How are you doing? I am dutch student biomedical science and I am looking for a furnished room in Adelaide from 22th of February till the end of July. I am here for an internship at the Royal australasian college of surgeons (next to the Uni of Adelaide) for my master programma. I am an easy going, friendly guy that love sports (love to go surfing, swimming diving together!) , hangout with friends, go party together or just have a relaxt netflix-movienight together. Hygiene is important for me and I will make sure my room/appartment will be clean. I also love to cook; perhaps I could let you experience a dutch meal :) After I finished my internship I wanna go travel around Australia for 3 - 4 months. Maybe we could go explore some parts of Australia together already during the weekends :) I am already in Adelaide and live at the Goodwood Road but I would love to live somewhere more central in the city center. Cheer and hope to see you soon, Sinan
Hi! We're moving from Sweden to Adelaide in October this year and are now looking for a place to live! Madeleine is half Australian and speaks English has her mother tongue, Ebba is Swedish but speaks English fluently. We are both very social, tidy and clean!
I'm easy going and friendly, and love playing sport, exploring the outdoors, music, markets and food. I'm moving from New Zealand to do my final year of engineering at UA and ideally looking for a group of social students! Quotes from previous flatmates: "Never wears matching socks" "regularly cleans the kitchen with a precision and focus not dissimilar to what you might expect from your granny" "Is (disappointingly) half Australian and will have the lingo down in no time" "would recommend solely due to her brownie making skills"
