Hey all! Thanks for reading, keen to find a place!

I’m Mads, I’m 23 and my 6 year old cat Evie (pls read info on her below!) and I are seeking either a room with our own bathroom, a granny flat, a 1 bed unit or studio to rent in the Western suburbs or Western side of the city!

I currently live in flat share in the Virginia area, and would love to find something way closer to my family, my partner, and somewhere I feel a bit more comfortable/welcome with some more space!
I work part time 3-6 afternoons and occasionally mornings as a stablehand, studying my advanced certificate in Equine Sciences and plan to commence studying a bachelor of Vet Nursing!
So when I’m at home I’m usually relaxing or studying! I’m very horse oriented as it’s a passion rather than a job, so in my spare time I ride a lot as well! Feel free to join if you’re a horse person!

(Please don’t be put off by Evie! She is a rescue and has been with me for the last 5 years, she has some trauma/nerve damage in some of her front toes so genuinely is not a scratcher of carpet or furniture! A sad story! But fortunate that she’s in no pain, usually keeps to herself either sun baking on my bed or laying under my bed as she likes the dark lol! She’s an absolute sweetheart and a love bug once she’s brave enough to come out of hiding! She’s indoor, and fully litter trained, has genuinely never had an accident, and I’m happy to keep her things in my bathroom rather than laundry/garage! She has lived with both dogs and cats and surprisingly gets along really well with both! She has plenty of references of her own lol, confirming how low maintenance and well behaved she is!)

I’ve been flat sharing on and off for the last 4-6 years, and inbetween sharing I’ve rented solo, so I have a handful of professional, personal and rental references ☺️ I’m tidy, respectful, super easy going, quiet + can keep to myself, but also can be super sociable and always up for a chat and like forming good relationships with my roommates. I adapt in all housing situations so am happy to make friends or keep to ourselves! I’m a non smoker, only drink socially on special occasions, but have no preference at all on if if my roommates smoke/drink or what they do in their spare time! Hoping for a place that’s LGBTQ+ friendly as well!
