Georgie

Hello!

My name's Georgie and I'm a registered nurse, originally from New Zealand. I have spent the last 3 years living and working in Australia, mostly doing rural contracts which has taken me to Tasmania, Normanton, Mount Isa and a few places in between. After 18 months of suitcase living/working, I am keen to settle down for a while, and Cairns seems like the perfect place!

I love to get out and about, mostly exercising and running, so I am super excited to see what the Cairns region has to offer in terms of the outdoors. I love making new friends, but also appreciate my quiet time and would consider myself very independent. My friends describe me as fun, kind, friendly and caring, while my past flatmates describe me as clean, tidy and organised (so I can guarantee I'll be a positive addition to your home).

My ideal move in date is the end of April however I would be happy to pay to secure a room before this, especially if I think it's too good an opportunity to miss! I do shift work including night shifts, so I am looking for a room that will allow for some quiet during my nocturnal days and my ideal would be a place that has no more than 2 other bedrooms/housemates. I'm looking for a furnished room and my length of stay is flexible, as is my budget, so please let me know if you think your place is right for me :)
