Hello! We’re Gunhee Park (born 1993) and Chanho Park (born 1991) 😊

We’re a married couple currently looking for a short-term share house in Adelaide (but we’d be very happy to stay longer if it’s a good fit for everyone). Since finding one can be quite competitive, we wanted to introduce ourselves properly so you can get a clear picture of who we are and what it would be like to live with us.

I’m 32 and studying Nursing at Flinders University. I have already completed one year of nursing studies in Australia, and I’ll be continuing my studies while living in Adelaide. I previously graduated from university in Seoul, South Korea, majoring in Chinese Language and Literature, and worked for six years in the marketing department of a Korean sunglasses company.

My husband, Chanho, has many years of experience in clothing design, and has also worked extensively in garment production. He later worked as a barber (men’s hairdressing) and also holds a tiling qualification. He is planning to arrive in Adelaide at the early of January 2026, and will be actively looking for work and enrolling in an English language course, so he’ll also have a busy daily routine outside the house.

We’re both calm, easygoing, and considerate people. We enjoy quiet activities like going for walks, listening to music, or relaxing at home with a movie. We value a peaceful living environment and are not party-oriented.
Keeping shared spaces clean and organised is important to us, and we always respect house rules, noise levels, and privacy. We’re also not sensitive to others who smoke.

We’ve lived together in Seoul for more than two years, so we understand how to live as a couple while respecting boundaries and shared routines. We support each other and are confident in maintaining a harmonious shared household.

I’ve lived in Seoul for 10 years, including 5 years in shared housing, and my husband also lived with housemates for nearly 10 years before we met. Through these experiences, we’ve learned how to adjust, communicate well, and respect boundaries in a shared living setup.

We’re really looking forward to meeting kind and friendly housemates and sharing this exciting new chapter of our life in Adelaide together.
