Hi, I’m Joel 👋
I’m moving to Cairns from NSW in late January to early February for work and am currently looking to find a rental to team up with one or two like-minded people.

I’ll be new to the Cairns area, so ideally I’m hoping to connect with a housemate before signing a lease and finding a place together. I work full-time in a professional role, with a mix of working from home and office days, so I’ll need space for a small home office setup.

I’ve lived in many share houses over the years and know how to be a respectful, easy-going housemate. This time around I’m keen to keep things calm and comfortable, ideally with 2–3 people in total. I’m open to sharing with another working professional or a couple.

I have a beautiful dog named Roma. She’s a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois, well socialised and very friendly. She loves other dogs and has also lived happily with a cat, so I’m open to other pets in the house.

I’m generally a quiet person, enjoy a clean and tidy home, like getting outdoors, and cook when motivation strikes 🙂 I’m a non-smoker and enjoy the occasional couple of beers, but I’m not a big party person.

I’m currently looking in Redlynch, Edge Hill and the Northern Beaches, but I’m flexible on location if the right place and people come along.
