Renaissance Funk reflects my artistic journey and is infused with the spirit of community engagement, drawing inspiration from various art studios, co-ops, and poetry societies.
After marriage, I moved into design, and have been a freelance illustrator/designer for over 20 years. Work in the disability sector.
I have a dedication to community support, evident in roles, where I no combines my artistic talents with a commitment to helping others, particularly through initiatives that promote creativity and well-being.
Having spent time in two live-in art studios—Surranderd Studio and Vagabond Art Studio— I have transitioned into roles as an illustrator and designer while maintaining a strong focus on community involvement. I am also passionate about poetry and am currently working on a series of anthologies and children’s books.
With over thirty years of experience, I thrive as a vagabond artist, dedicated to exploring human creativity and fostering community connections through the lens of Renaissance Funk.
