Hi, I enjoy the company of others so long as we all aren't in each others pockets. So I value space when it's needed and common courtesy for the space that others may need. I've spent much of my career at sea on ships, so I guess it's rubbed off on me to be very mindful of others

But I do really like connecting with people - so having a short chat or a long conversation about "whatever" is always open for me. I've travelled a bit and have always been keenly interested in other countries & cultures. But i'm a bit crap at learning new languages - takes me forever it seems to get the basics, but that always makes for a laugh.

I love getting out into the rainforest to hike or explore and I have a 13 year old Inner Child that wants to go play on the mountain bike tracks - I also study a fair bit in my free time.

I am very much an animal person - please don't ask me to choose the better of a cat or a dog and there's very few animals that didn't want to be friends with me.

I'm trying to not fall into writing the usual cliches of neat and tidy and clean and pay bills on time, bla, bla, bla... Because I am these things but it doesn't seem authentic to write about them.

I also want to find a well balanced home with well balanced people. I like mixed sex homes coz this is part of the balance with people I think. Healthy minds, healthy bodies, respectful, honest, and down to earth people are my favourites.
