Howdy all :) names Dan I work 7 on 7 off in the mines and im at the start of looking to get a place so team up with another easy going person who is on the level.

Looking to team up either in Townsville, Mackay or Airlie since I work 7 on 7 off any of of those places are fine its all within a few hours drive from work which is great.

So im keen to go 50/50 on the lease (not interested in renting a room). We would have to be approved by the realastate which brings a good 50/50 split in the responsibility but also being able to enjoy it on our own terms Ive bever rented a room for like 10 years and i wont it would need to be equal and not like a guest in someone's house.

Im a current home owner and and i also have 3 tenants who rent from myself and I think its incredibly stupid to ask 300/400 a week for a room and outline rules about pets or guests like come on.

Pets are family and having guests over or family visiting and having a few drinks on the weekend is apart of just general life for most of us and to read the 50% of adds that say no to these things is highly ridiculous and is a red flag to them as a person, dont get me wrong we all have a preference but denying a dog or cat or lizard or family / friends to visit is stupid to say it outright.

OK so about myself I work 7 on 7 off been in the mining industry since I was 19 so its a fair bit of time haha.

Main hobbies include traveling, reptiles, movies, gym, beach, camping 🏕 playing my playstation and xbox but also started getting into interior design.

Im super clean and tidy and could only share with somone who is on the same level haha.

I have a well behaved trained 6 month old kitten hes a bangel X and besides being very cute and friendly hes aslo super loyal and follows me around everywhere (like everywhere).

He has been trained to use a self cleaning toilet which is in the main bathroom so a portable machine which it self cleans itself and doesn't create smells so its not like a litter box on the floor exposed like ther normal, its definitely elevated. I do have to change the inside bag once a week but thats it lol wish we had this years ago lol its great (thankyou modern technology).

I would consider myself a very quiet person at times but also social so a introvert on (monday to Friday) but come friday or Saturday and extrovert for 14hrs or so then back to wanting quiet time come sunday morning.

So on my week on back at work I would take my kittten with myself so he would never be at the house full time as hes like my child he will always he with me never alone with anyone else.

I have 1 young male kitten but wont be at the house full time week on week off but also am looking at getting a mianecoon kitten aswell maybe in april.

Just to add Im a very open bi sexual male aswell have to let future prospective house mate know because at some point having someone over would create a topic of conversation and some people still in 2025, dont like it etc so mentioning this now avoids future un easy conversations and being stuck with someone who isnt my sort of person to associate with.
