I'm clean and respectful of other people's spaces, recently graduated University and moved to Townsville to live and work. I'm looking to live somewhere with people who are sociable and friendly. I work full time hours and like to have fun and adventure in my off time, so I'm not home a great deal and after living in shared housing for a long time I'm an expert on shared living spaces.
Hi, I'm moving up to Townsville for work and looking for a place to live. 29y/o professional, friendly, clean, respectful, looking for somewhere within a walk/ride of the CBD & Strand. I'm sporty and active, looking forward to getting out and exploring NQ. Usually working 8-5, I'm pretty social and enjoy cooking and entertaining for friends, but try to get to bed early enough during the week to get up for a jog before work! Looking for a place for a flexible time limit - could stay for a month or two or for 6-12 months. If this sounds like a good fit, please message. Thanks!
Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist and will be moving to Townsville for work on 14th July via a pit stop in Darwin for a course. I will eventually be looking for my own place but looking for a short term solution in the meanwhile. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
Hey I'm Chantelle I'm 23 years old and from Manchester in the UK :). I love meeting new people and learning more about Australians! I'm fun but have my quiet days where I just want to relax and listen to some music. I also like to have a drink or two on the occasional weekend! :)
Hooroo friends! I'm a 22 year student studying Zoology at JCU. I've been living in Douglas for the past year, having moved up from home in Victoria, but it's time to find a new place and so I'm looking for my next sharehouse. I like to think I'm a really easy going guy, I don't get uptight about anything around the home, and I'm always down to do something fun with my housemates to procrastinate from uni. In my spare time I enjoy heading out for a cheeky beer with mates, playing/watching sport, fishing, exploring the the outdoors, expanding my mediocre cooking skills, or for a bit of downtime just reading a book or listening to some tunes. I'm currently working a couple of jobs (including at the Brewery - happy to bring home samples) as well as Youth Allowance so rent and bills are never an issue. I really enjoy living the lifestyle in Douglas and most of my friends live around here so I don't particularly want to leave, but I could possibly live in Annandale at a stretch. I'd be more than happy to catch up for a coffee if you'd like to know more, I really value a good relationship with my housemates and so I'd really prefer to live with people I can get along awesome with. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hey there I'm Tom from the United Kingdom. I'm coming to Townsville to do a PhD looking into feral cats in the swamps and woods around the area. I'm an outgoing and gregarious sort of chap. I enjoy going to a pub to chat and socialize as much as I like to go on random adventures and hikes in the outdoors. To unwind I enjoy going to gigs and playing football, but sometimes there's nothing better than settling down with a good book for an afternoon. I'll be getting my own car so road trips are a distinct possibility. I am a respectful housemate and know that when there needs to be quiet time and how to clean up after myself. I'm looking for other students or people of a similar age to live with either moving into a free room or teaming up to find a new place.
I may be 48, but I am a lot younger at heart, so please don't let my age put you off. I think first of all i am a person who loves to socialise. I am clean & tidy person. I have an indoor desexed 11 year old female indoor cat, who is also very clean & tidy. I like to cook & don't mind cooking for my house/flatmates, so as they wash up ;), but willing to help with washing up. I pay my bills on time. I am a very balanced person. I am not judgemental and I am very understanding. I am super open-minded. I am not a party animal.
I tend to keep to myself and not want to take up other's space too much, and I don't make too much noise. I like to be told when I'm doing something that annoys someone because I like living harmoniously. I'm also pretty alright at cooking :D I also have two cats.
Hey there! We are Bryan and Renée and we are about to move up to Townsville from Sydney! We will both be bartending and Bryan will also be working in events and marketing. In our free time, we love hiking (can't wait to explore Magnetic Island!), trying out new recipes, trivia nights, and a good Netflix sesh. We both have years of flatshare experience and check all the boxes of basic humanity - clean, financially stable, respectful of space, and friendly. We'd love to find a place somewhat near the CBD and ideally with some furniture as we won't be moving with any. Cheers - Your future roommates x
I am a clean and tidy male working FIFO on 8/6 roster, looking for accomodation for minimum 6 months, may extend depending on situation. I’m easy going, social and get along with everyone. I dont drink or smoke. I am looking for a relaxed, friendly and respectful roommate.
Hey! I’m Lauren. I am a happy, friendly, respectful 29 year-old housemate! I am very clean and tidy because who doesn’t love coming home to a nice space? I am reliable and employed full-time as a Speech Pathologist so rent will always be on time and the toilet roll will always be replaced :) I just moved to Townsville from Sydney for a work contract so I’ll be here until the end of November. I am loving this sunny weather you are delivering ☀️ I quite like a chat and a vino but keep most of my socialising outside of the house. I love to read, cook, do yoga and go on adventures. You should pick me as your new housemate because I cook a pretty fabulous banana bread and I’m happy to share it with you! Hope to hear from you soon!
I’m Symone, I am currently studying a diploma of beauty therapy. I’m a chilled and friendly person. I get along with people easily. I’m clean and tidy. I am trying to find part time work as I’m completing my studies.
I’m easy going, social and live an active lifestyle. I get along with everyone and have been in sharehouses for 5 years with ease. My interests are camping, travelling, and helping the environment. I’m always up for a conversation. Just looking for a relaxed and friendly roommate :)
Hi, I am a full time uni student studying Veterinary Science at JCU. I have two dogs and a bird whom I love very dearly- my dogs are both older dogs and are therefore quite low energy (one is 14 years old, the other 10). I am a very clean person and between uni and work I am virtually never even home. I don't drink or party very often but am a pretty social person and love to meet new people. I love all things outdoors and obviously love animals- but who doesn't?
Super friendly and easy to get along with :) I have lived in a sharehouse before, and I always clean up my mess afterwards (especially in the kitchen)! I am currently having a gap year before moving to Melbourne next year. I work casually with a few businesses as an admin assistant and I also tutor high school and primary school students. For fun I love team sports, hip hop dance and reading/music. I am quite invested in my health and enjoy exercise and the outdoors in general. Additionally, I love to be able to hang out indoors and watch movies. I am currently studying a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance. I tend to find myself quite busy with work and study and thus I live to enjoy the quiet and peace at the end of the long day and relax and chill out on the weekends. I am respectful of noise and space as I would like to live where flat mates did the same.
