Hi there! 💕
I'm Karla, I'm 19 and currently living with my parents in the southern suburbs of Adelaide. I will begin studying a Cert III in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE Gilles Plains in 2026. It's an 18-month course so ideally I am looking to relocate close to Gilles Plains for about 2 years (or longer if all goes well). I currently work as a disability support worker, so I travel to clients in and around the CBD 😊
I've lived out of home before, but had to move back in with my parents due to a change in circumstances. I'm independent, clean, and know how to look after myself. My interests include a bit of crocheting, pilates (I've recently started and I love it), reading, country music, and coffee. I also have an 18 month old male Dachshund named Whiskey (he's my whole world). He is not desexed and gets along with other dogs really well. I would love for my flatmate(s) to get along with animals because it is what I would love to do for a career! I am looking to get another Dachshund in the near future, as Whiskey gets a bit of separation anxiety and needs a friend.
As for my move in date, I am flexible but would prefer to wait until early January. While studying full-time I am probably going to need to cut back on my workings hours, hence the low budget.
I would prefer another woman close to me in age, and it would be great to not just be housemates but to become good friends!
