Hi! I’m doing my masters at JCU next year and need a home! I will be moving from regional Victoria, where I live with my dog and 2 cats.
I keep a very clean and tidy space, especially when shared. I appreciate the value in alone time but also after having lived with housemates where I felt an outsider in my own home before, I’d love a chance to develop a strong friendship - even more with the fact that I will be in an entirely new area! I am outdoorsy and down to earth, love rowing, hiking, reading, cooking, but also value “do nothing” days. Not much of a party girl anymore, but if I do go out I never bring people home so noise won’t be a worry.

My pets will be coming with me so having me as a housemate would best suit someone that isn’t in a position to have their own pets despite maybe wanting them? Nelly is a 3yo german shorthaired pointer who is much more relaxed than the breed typically is. I take her out for a couple hours a day and she pretty much sleeps for the rest. Leo and Gordy are my two cats, very scared of strangers but warm quickly and occupy both inside and outside. They will remain entirely my responsibility but if you’d like to walk Nells or literally anything that’s so fine too!
