Lara and Tim

We are a couple from Switzerland spending a year in Australia on a working holiday. Lara previously worked in marketing and communications, and Tim is a trained chef.

A clean and respectful living environment is very important to both of us. We are very easygoing, open, and get along well with people. Lara has already lived in a shared apartment with three other people where multiple languages were spoken, so English was mostly used as the common language. This has made us very familiar and comfortable with shared living in an international environment.
We also enjoy playing card and board games and are always happy to take part in shared activities when living in a flatshare. At the same time, we also value our peace and quiet.

We enjoy staying active by going to the gym, running (we have both completed a half marathon), hiking, and spending time outdoors. In our downtime, we love cooking, playing chess, and reading books. During our stay in Australia, we are looking for a few casual jobs to support our travels and everyday life. We are very much looking forward to this experience, meeting new people, making new friends, and discovering new hobbies along the way.

We are currently looking for either a room in a shared apartment or our own apartment. We will be staying in Sydney until approximately the end of March (possibly longer, depending on circumstances). We are seeking accommodation in the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs, specifically in the Surry Hills, Paddington, Randwick, etc. areas.
