I'm Megan, 30, moving to Adelaide from the UK. Ready to rent for when my airbnb check out on 4/02/2026 (my first stop in Australia) so ideally the weekend prior.
I'm moving here for work, as a nurse, and would like to utilise my annual leave visiting Australia and maybe Asia. I love change and I'd ideally like an opportunity to do the work I love and know best, whilst also finding different work environments too, such as coffee shops etc, just things I wouldn't do in the UK and maintaining a mortgage.
I have a 16 year old cat, Twiggy. She's toriseshell, very quiet, sleeps most of the time, but interactive and although is mostly indoor, if there was outside space, she'd visit for 5 minutes a time here and there.
I enjoy time off to equally relax and explore. Alone, I'd spend days off visiting cafes, going on walks, reading, podcasts etc. To socialise I'd enjoy meals out or cinema trips. On the weekends I'd go to Church and I've also got a few hobbies and a keen interest in finding new ones too, so I'd spend equal time in and out.
I've lived alone for many years now but I'd enjoy living with someone for the occasional times you might want to connect, TV or home cooked meals. I don't mind living with a few people, but not too many.
