I’ve just graduated in engineering from Tasmania and I’m moving to Adelaide in early January to start a full-time engineering role just south of the city. I’ll be working full-time during the week and I’m looking to settle into a stable, longer-term living arrangement.
Outside of work I’m active and have a background in triathlon, so being close to the coast is ideal for me — mainly for running, riding, and getting outdoors regularly. That’s why I’m focusing on the south-west of the city (Glenelg and surrounding suburbs, or slightly further south), as it works well for training, is close to the beach, and is still practical for commuting to work.
In terms of living style, I’m very clean, respectful, and easy to live with. I don’t smoke, rarely drink, and I’m generally quiet around the house, especially during the week. I keep busy with work and training, but I really value a tidy, low-stress household with people who are motivated and sensible.
I’m saving quite aggressively at the moment with the goal of eventually getting my own place, so I’m looking to live with people who are similar in that they look after the property, respect shared spaces, and are comfortable living together in a calm, focused environment. I’m happy to be social when it suits, but I also respect personal space and independence.
