Hello future housemate,
My name is Andy, I’m 36 and work full-time in HR. I’d describe myself as an ambivert — I enjoy socialising, dinners and drinks at the pub, playing pool, beach days and the footy season, but I equally value quiet weekends at home binging on a good TV show, reading a book, playing some video games or spending time in the garden.
I also have a 15-year-old Spoodle named Marley. She is incredibly friendly, gentle and people-oriented, and she’s been my little companion for many years. She loves cuddles, naps, quick play times and being around calm, kind people — I would appreciate someone who is comfortable living with a small indoors dog.
I keep my home neat, organised and peaceful, and I’m looking for someone who naturally lives the same way. I want to live in a warm and welcoming home — not a party house — and I really value respect, cleanliness and a relaxed adult atmosphere.
Ideally, I'd like to team up with a mature, full-time employed professional who is reliable, communicative and responsible. We both understand the importance of paying rent/bills on time, keeping shared spaces clean, and contributing fairly to a harmonious household. I don't mind having a friendly chat or sharing a movie here and there, but also respect the need for personal time and space and "me time".
I’m happy to share basic household essentials together (washing powder, milk, sugar, hand soap etc.), but prefer to keep our main meals separate.
I ideally am looking for a place where the bedroom provided is furnished.
My current lease ends on 8 February 2026, but have some flexibility with move in date (~1 week). I am only looking for a short-term stay for between 3 - 6 weeks as I will be returning back to the place I am currently living in after renovations have been completed. I will only consider a periodic lease agreement (subtenancy) rather than a formal lease agreement, due to the short term stay timeframe.
If the above sounds like the right fit, message me and see if we’re a good match.
