Mollie and Alessandro

Hi! I’m Mollie, I’m 24 and I’ve just moved to Darwin from Ireland with my boyfriend, Alessandro. Alessandro is 22, Italian, and a football player - he’s currently playing with a team here in Darwin, which is what brought us over.

We’re both on working holiday visas and are in the process of getting ourselves set up and starting a life here in Australia. At the moment, we’re looking for a room to rent while we find work and properly settle in.

We’re easygoing, friendly people who are respectful of shared spaces and the people we live with. We like our own downtime and are pretty independent, but we’re also approachable, chatty when it feels natural, and always happy to be on good terms with housemates. We enjoy cooking, keeping the place tidy, and creating a calm, comfortable home.

We’re not big party people, but we are social, active, and kind, and we’d really value living in a place that feels relaxed and welcoming rather than just somewhere to sleep.
