Hi, my name is Jiya An — you can call me Jiya.
I’m currently living in Brisbane City and I’m open to moving to other areas if it feels like the right fit. I’m on a working holiday and looking for a comfortable place to stay for around 2 weeks to 2 months, and I would be happy to stay longer if everything feels right for both sides.
Rather than writing just a few short lines, I wanted to introduce myself properly. I believe the atmosphere of a home — and the people you live with — matter just as much as the room itself.
I’m naturally a morning person. I enjoy starting my day early, sometimes with light exercise or a quiet walk while the air is still fresh. In the evenings, I usually wind down in bed with a book. I appreciate calm routines and a peaceful home environment.
I’m currently looking into café opportunities, as I genuinely enjoy coffee and the calm rhythm of café culture. Good coffee, tidy spaces, and small daily conversations are things I truly appreciate.
Although I haven’t lived in a share house before, I grew up in a five-person household with two older sisters, so shared living feels very natural to me. I understand the importance of cleaning up after myself, being mindful of noise, and respecting others’ space and routines.
Cleaning is actually something I enjoy. When my thoughts feel busy, I tend to organize my space — it helps me reset. Keeping shared areas tidy would feel very natural to me.
I don’t smoke, and I rarely drink, though I occasionally enjoy a relaxed drink in a comfortable setting.
More than anything, I hope to live in a home where people are considerate and easygoing. I’m independent, but I also appreciate small, warm interactions — like a short chat in the kitchen at the end of the day.
If this feels like a good match, I’d love to hear from you.
