Hi there, i am Nadia, 31, and am currently work at Bunnings on a set 25-hour part-time contract, though I generally work 35+ hours a week across 3–6 days. I really enjoy my job, get along well with my team, and feel very supported by my managers. I’ve rented for 13 years, prefer stable long-term accommodation, and I’m reliable with rent and bills.
I’m hoping to find something down south, with a budget of up to around $350 per week depending on the room, home, bills and setup. I’m ready to move now, but still want it to feel like the right fit.
Ideally, I’m hoping to find someone who would like to apply for a rental with me, as I’d love to create a warm, shared home and set myself up again properly. I’m not against joining the right existing share house either. I’d prefer a master bedroom if possible, but I’m open to the right room and setup.
Personality-wise, I’m super bubbly, friendly, and easy to get along with. I love a good chat and a laugh, but I also really respect downtime and personal space. I’ve made long-term friends with my neighbours everywhere I’ve lived, so I’d love to share with someone where there’s a genuine friendly connection and the home feels kind, respectful, and easy to be in.
At home, I’m very much a cosy-home person. I enjoy crafts like sewing, quilting, decoupage and upcycling, as well as movies, baking, journaling, music, the beach, op shops, brunches/dinners and home décor. I have my own furniture currently in storage, so I’m hoping to find a place where I can use it again and make the space feel warm, shared, safe, and relaxed. I also really enjoy hosting and creating a home people feel comfortable in.
I’m a bit house proud, so I do like a clean, tidy home and prefer living with people who naturally clean up after themselves. I’m not obsessive, but I care about creating a space that feels fresh, comfortable, and looked after. I’m also happy to chat through chores, routines and expectations so the home feels fair and easy for everyone.
I live a fairly calm lifestyle due to my work hours and the rest I need for health reasons, so I’d prefer somewhere that isn’t a party household and doesn’t have substance use.
I have three pets who are a big part of my life. Pip is my 5-year-old Kelpie x Border Collie. She’s affectionate, generally quiet, loving, crate trained, and well trained — I call her my Velcro baby. I’ve done a lot of work with her to make sure she has good manners, and she knows quite a few tricks too. She can get excited around people at first, but overall she’s pretty chill and sleeps a lot.
I also have two cats, Delilah and Little One, who are both 13. They’re older, settled cats who are used to home life and enjoy their routines. Delilah mostly keeps to herself, while Little One is a snuggle bug, and they both prefer a calm environment. I’m very mindful of keeping their spaces clean, staying on top of pet hair, litter, bedding, and making sure the home stays fresh and comfortable for everyone.
If you think this could be a good fit, please feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to meet for a coffee and have a chat.
