Sarah and Marius

Hi, we are Sarah, 28, and Marius, 30, a happily married couple from Germany. We are currently travelling with our two wonderful dogs and are now looking to settle in the Northern Beaches / Cairns area for around 6 months.

We have two boys: Louie, a black 7 year old Labradoodle, and Charles, a small brown 1 year old Cockapoo/Spoodle with four white paws and beautiful long eyelashes. They are both very sweet, friendly, well behaved, desexed and house trained. Louie is a very calm, loyal soul, and Charles is very affectionate and loves people. They regularly receive compliments from strangers, which probably says a lot about how lovely they are.

Marius is a qualified chef and enjoys cooking, fitness, running, swimming and spending time outdoors. He is active, practical and loves a good hammock moment. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and I am also a qualified beauty therapist, so my interests are quite varied. I love matcha, walks with the dogs, reading, shopping, board games and, honestly, eating the amazing food Marius cooks.

We are not party people. We prefer a calm, private and tidy home environment, spending time with our dogs, cooking, relaxing and exploring the area. We do not smoke and we are very respectful of other people’s space and privacy.

We are looking for a private place of our own rather than a shared room or shared house. Ideally, we would love a furnished granny flat, studio, small unit or entire home with our own kitchen and bathroom. A small space is absolutely fine for us, as long as it feels private and peaceful.

We are very clean and responsible tenants. With dogs, we naturally clean a lot, and Marius is very particular about keeping things tidy. We would treat any place with care and respect, as if it were our own home.
