I’ve recently moved from Cairns to Townsville for work. I’m a journalist and love regional living. Ideally I’m looking for a one-bedroom place or granny flat, but I’m also open to finding the right share house with someone who has a similar lifestyle.

I work long and sometimes variable hours, some early starts, later finishes (usually no later then 7pm) and occasional weekend work — so I really value a calm, respectful home environment. I’m social and friendly, and enjoy sharing a wine, watching a series or having a chat, but I also appreciate personal space and downtime to recharge.

I’m tidy, considerate, reliable with rent and bills. References can be provided to speak to this. Overall, just looking for a comfortable, easygoing place to call home in Townsville.

Where possible I would like off street parking and I do also have a preference of own bathroom, but not a deal breaker.
