Hello Im Courtney ,

I never thought my son and I would be in this position again , but I’m reaching out in hopes someone may be able to help my son and I find somewhere safe to stay.

My mum may come with us as she works full-time time as well.

I’m a 30-year-old mum with a beautiful 9-year-old son (Karsin).

We have experienced homelessness before and at one stage were living in a tent for about Max 2 and a half months!

I promised myself I’d do everything I could to never let us end up there again , but unfortunately we now have to leave where we are staying due to renovations , and we are unable to return back to the residential address afterwards.

My Son Karsin currently attends Caningeraba State School , so I’m really hoping to stay around that area if possible , just so I can keep some stability and normality in his life during all of this.

I’m not asking for luxury — just a safe place for my son to sleep at night.

We are more than willing to share a room again if needed.

I have a pump-up mattress and my son has a single bed , and we will make absolutely anything work.

I’m currently rebuilding my life after breaking my hip 2 and a half years ago.

I’m finally getting back into the workforce and hospitality/pub work has always been my background.

I also have my learners and I’m working towards getting my licence.

We are extremely respectful , quiet , clean and tidy people.

My son deserves stability and I’m trying my hardest as a mother to give him that.

Even the smallest bit of help , a room , a lead , or someone willing to HELP!

Could honestly change everything for us right now.
