Jack and Ed

My name is Jack, and my best mate Ed and I are looking for two rooms in a share house in Cairns from July to October 2026.

We're both from the UK and travelling on Working Holiday Visas. We're hoping to find accommodation in or around Cairns CBD, the Esplanade, Cairns North, or Edge Hill, but we're flexible for the right place.

Our budget is approximately $300 per week each, and we have deposits ready.

A little about us:

Ed has managed luxury 5-star hotels in the UK and is highly organised, professional, and respectful of shared spaces.

I have spent the last five years working in robotic medical sales, so I'm reliable, personable, and accustomed to working in professional environments.

We're both clean, tidy, easy-going housemates who enjoy meeting new people and making the most of our time in Australia. Outside of work, we're keen on the gym, outdoor activities, hiking, beach days, exploring new places, and enjoying a good pub or BBQ with friends.

We're sociable and friendly, but equally respectful of people's privacy and routines. We take pride in looking after where we live and would be excellent tenants.

We're also looking for work during our stay and have strong backgrounds in hospitality, management, sales, and customer service, although we're open to a wide range of opportunities.
