Hi everyone!
We’re Milan and Louise, a couple from Réunion Island, a little slice of paradise near Madagascar.
We arrived in Adelaide on the 25th of June and are currently embracing the hostel life (although we'd love to swap bunk beds for a real home soon).
Our goal is to stay in Adelaide for the next few months. We’re both looking for work in construction, and in the meantime we’re already doing Uber Eats and DoorDash deliveries while searching for something more permanent.
As we don't have a car yet, we're looking for a place with easy access to public transport to Adelaide's city centre. We don't mind living outside the CBD at all—in fact, we'd be happy anywhere within about a 30-minute public transport commute.
We are both easy-going, respectful, and open-minded people who enjoy meeting new people and adapting to new environments. We appreciate peaceful moments just as much as we enjoy going out for a drink, having a BBQ or sharing a good laugh.
We both love animals and the ocean. Milan is a commercial diver, so he’s happiest underwater, and I’m basically obsessed with whales, scuba diving and anything marine — the ocean is a big part of our lives. If there’s a beach nearby, there’s a good chance you’ll find us there !
Most importantly, we’re really excited to experience Australian life, meet locals, work hard and improve our English. We’re clean, considerate and easy to live with, and we’d love to become part of a friendly home rather than just rent a room.
Looking forward to meeting you! 😊
