Having flown up from Melbourne, I've been in Darwin six weeks working as a live sound engineer. Mixing bands every day at the Darwin Festival was so much fun I've stuck around a bit longer. Now I'm contracted to work six days a week at the Darwin Convention Centre until at least Sept 26th.

My Darwin Festival accomodation has timed out so I'm in need of somewhere until September 27th.

It's possible I'll stay beyond September 27th but I'm not currently seeking to lock something in beyond that date.

I won't need much from my home base beyond a place to eat a healthy meal in a smoke free environment. Not the sit around watching TV type but you go ahead - I sleep with earplugs.

I'm happy enough with my own company - won't need you need you to entertain me - but open to enjoying the company of others as it arises and try not to take myself too seriously.

Really enjoying Darwin and finding the people very welcoming. I like zipping about on a scooter, doing the markets and having a swim at the Parap Pool during the rare bit of down time ... I'm working long hours.
