Hello All,
I am a mature male in his early forties seeking long term accommodation. Queensland Government public servant working 0.6FTE (3 days) while also working a manual outdoor job (2-3 days) per week. Been with the Queensland Government for 12 years. Essentially I am a full time worker, but split between two vocations.
I am single, no pets, very clean and quiet.
I currently rent a 4 bedroom house on the northside but the owner is putting the rent up from $660 to $750 per week and it is not sustainable for me to stay on. There is now no cap on rental increases and the rental market is tight. I haven't been able to find someone to share with me who is courteous, quiet and respectful (people tell me they are initially and then they end up doing their own thing a few weeks later like prepping food and using the blender in the kitchen at 11pm!)
I am available to move commencing the 1st August.
I have 3 years of rental references from Cairns Property Office Redlynch and 2 years through Stone Real Estate Smithfield. Before that I owned a property on Minnie Street in Cairns but had to sell due to noise, crime and itinerants congregating at night.
Can provide current pay slips, information on references above and some personal referees that live here in Cairns (been here 12 years).
I am very handy around the home/garden and can help or even completely look after mowing, gardening and any pools if that can assist your property.
I have one 2022 Toyota Hilux work vehicle which is not modified or loud.
Keeping my identity private for reasons I can explain in person.
Ideally a downstairs level of a home, granny flat or portion of a dwelling would be ideal.
Budget up to $550 per week.
Thank you for reading.
