Nia Evans

Hey! 👋 I’m a 25-year-old from Wales, moving over to Adelaide at the end of November 2026 for a 9-month PhD placement, and I’m on the hunt for a lovely place (and some lovely people!) to call home until around August 2027 🇦🇺

I’ll be working with the Adelaide Thunderbirds and the University of Adelaide as part of my PhD in Sport & Exercise Science, so I’ll be keeping busy with full-time research/study while I’m there 🏐📚

Outside of work, I’m definitely someone who likes to keep active — I’m into netball, running and CrossFit, but I also love a chilled hike, a beach day or exploring somewhere new. When I’m not being active, you’ll probably find me with a coffee and a good book, or attempting some sort of crafty project or at the beach ☕📖🎨

I’m pretty clean and tidy, quite introverted and definitely more of a cosy night-in than a big night-out kind of person. I’m also an early bird, so I’m usually up and about early (and probably in bed at a reasonable hour 😂).

I’m hoping to find a friendly, relaxed and respectful household where we can have a laugh, occasionally hang out, but also be happy doing our own thing. I’m really excited to make the move to Adelaide, meet some new people and make the most of my time in Australia! 🌊☀️
