Howdy, I'm Jake, 32, from Philly (go Birds), and will be studying at Flinders in 2027-28. I'll be arriving in early February, hoping to find a room between Flinders and the CBD for around $200-300 pw. Preferably near public transit as I won't have a car.

I'm new to Australia so I'd like to do a lot of exploring when I'm not studying/working. I'm a huge heavy metal nerd (the headphones will stay on don't worry lol) and love watching movies, reading, video games, learning about other languages and cultures, etc.

I'm pretty shy until I get to know people, prefer peace and quiet, but I'm trying to come out of the ol' shell a bit more and meet new people. I don't want to step on any toes so I'm happy to talk about boundaries and coordinating chores, I'll do my best to respect your privacy and will keep shared spaces tidy.
