Hi, I’m Lydia! I’m 21 and I’m from the US on a working holiday visa. I’m looking for a private room on the Sunshine Coast for around 4 months, through February or March 2027. I’d prefer a female only house, but open to other options. I don’t have a car so being near public transport or in walking distance to the beach and supermarkets is important for me.

I love hiking, coastal walks, animals (bonus if you have a dog!), yoga, volleyball, farmers markets, op shopping, cooking/baking, coffee shops, listening to music, and having chill nights in!

I’m not a smoker or a partier, but I’ll have a social drink occasionally. I do love my alone time to recharge and I will respect yours, but I’m happy to have a chat or do things together as well. I definitely prioritize good energy in the home and getting along well with my housemate(s)! Keeping a clean room/house is also very important to me. I’m looking for a cozy and peaceful place that truly feels like a home.

I will definitely be working as well, most likely in hospitality. I’m going to be looking for 35-40 hours/week daytime shifts (can’t guarantee, I may have to work some evenings too). I’m just waiting to see which area I settle in, as finding the right home is important to me first so I can find a job in the same area :)
