Moving to Melbourne on the 1st/2nd week of Nov. I'm a commencing postgrad Architecture student at Deakin Uni(Geelong) so I am looking for a nice place where it's both easy to take a train to Geelong or travel to the city center (since I'm also planning to work part time). I'm open-minded, friendly, considerate and respect others' privacy. I like to stay in and have my own time but I'm also occasionally down to travelling, movie nights or meals. Preferably looking for a female housemate of the same. Preferably looking for a month or two stay first to get used to the place and then to extend to long term lease, since my program is 2 years. :)
My partner Josh and I are looking for a place to call home! We are easy going, clean, happy people! I work part time in retail and am studying full time at Deakin and Josh is working anywhere from casual to full time hours in Disability support, he is also a full time uni student at Fed Uni in Ballarat. We have a dog named Rubie (Beaglier) and cat named Fatty (fur ball) they are both outside pets, although rubie doesn’t mind coming inside and will sneak in at every opportunity she has hahah however if she has to stay outside she will. They are both well trained! Our lease in our current share house ends on Monday (22/10) and for now we are staying at my parents house, but being 25yrs old, we would prefer not to. We have a fridge, that if possible we would like to use, and we also have a washing machine, but if you already have one of those we can store the washing machine elsewhere. We would like to pay a total price per room, not per person, however we don’t mind splitting the bills by individual people. Price per week is negotiable, just not sure what is out there at the moment! Please don’t hesitate to contact us, we would love to meet you! :)
FEMALE ONLY flat We have a bedroom available in our share house in Waurn Ponds, located just across the road from Waurn Ponds train station (literally a 60 second walk) and a 4 minute bus ride to the Waurn Ponds Deakin Campus, making it ideal for students and those who do not have their license. Other facilities are conveniently close as well, with the shopping centre, leisure centre and gym a 25 minute walk away (or 9 minute bus ride). And the train to Melbourne departs from the station approximately every 45 minutes to an hour. The train will also get you into Geelong city within 15 minutes. The room can come furnished or unfurnished and has a build in robe. The house is near new and in great condition, there is room for storage and the common areas are already furnished, with plenty of fridge and cupboard space to share. Netflix is available on the main TV with no additional charge. The internet is included in the rent price of $209 p/ fortnight. Other bills such as electricity, gas and water are paid as they come in and split equally amongst four people. The bills are never too expensive and should cost no more than $20 p/week but it is variable depending on everyone’s usage. No pets allowed sorry. Feel free to message if you have any questions :)
This brand new house has 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms, big open kitchen with living room and dining room. It is located in Belmont, 3 minutes walking from the bus stop. 10 Minutes from Waurn Ponds and 15 minutes from waterfront. Also, the house is located 10 minutes walking to Belmont Coles, fruitshack and butches, which is very convenient. The house have 2 big room available and 1 smaller room but still can suit a single bed and a desk. The three rooms have heater, air-con and fan in the ceiling. The house is semi-furnished and the rooms can be furnished if required.
Neat & Clean (testimonials from current housemates available), plenty of shared house experience. Up for the usual household banter & friendly chats but value downtime aswell. Living a very independent life well travelled, filled with activities mostly spent outdoors (surfing, bouldering, longboarding) or related to everything creative. Officially on a work & travel visa until March 2019 but currently applying for jobs to settle down here. Budget of 190/week inc. max. Ideally the bedroom comes furnished, however I do chose moving in with the right people over moving in with the right furniture, so could be willing to buy a bed if you're chill :p
Hey I'm Harry, I recently moved to Geelong for full time work as an Engineer. When I'm not working I like spending my time exercising and playing sport. I keep tidy and I'm always up for a good chat. I'm looking somewhere to live any where in the Geelong area which is close to my work and has easy access to Melbourne as I will be spending many weekends there. If I sound like your next housemate please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am a very busy woman with my work working 6 days a week so when I am home I generally like to relax and cook and love living in a clean and homely environment. Like to be social as well as have my own downtime, it’s all about balance right! I am very respectful of other people’s time and environments. I don’t have time for drama or gossip and prefer to live with like minded and similar age groups if possible! I really love building great relationships with lots of different types of people and always ready to pitch in and help with the house work and share home made cooked meals every now and then :) a bit of a excercise ritual in the mornings out the door early to get in a Pilates class or boxing and then maybe even weights in the evening. I love to eat healthy and I love to live to my fullest potential especially when it comes to my fitness and energy levels - Don’t get me wrong I also love a good Glass of wine when the time in right but generally prefer to live my life on a healthy frequency
