I'm an engineer by trade moving down from Sydney in August for work. I'm clean, respectful and most importantly well aware of how vital having a system in place for cleaning common areas is. Overall I'm simple, easy, laid back and enjoy going to the gym or for a swim. I love to surf so most of my weekends will feature a wave, some good coffee and a beer. I enjoy being social and having a new experiences whether it's a whisky bar in New town or a hike to a waterfall in snug falls.

Easy going professional tour guide. Typically travel over the winter and return to Hobart for the summer season. Originally from Scotland but now loving Tasmania and getting to show visitors how awesome it is. I enjoy cooking and socializing over food. Often I find myself still driving and hiking when I enjoy my days off though often I'll take my camera as an excuse to get out to explore new parts of the state. Pretty happy relaxing with Netflix as a way to wind down after long shifts. I collect music and enjoy a decent band or DJ when I can plan it around work and I'll play out if there is an opportunity to do so. This will be my fourth season housesharing. Reliable and happy to chip in keeping the place together. I don't smoke and it's pretty rare I'll have a drink because work is my priority over the summer.
The house is three bedrooms overlooking the beach with a large living area, surrounding veranda, a heat pump and wood fire. The house is currently being renovated so will have new paint and carpets throughout as well as a new dishwasher and oven. Although there is only one bathroom, the toilet is separate and there is a separate shower (two in total). The bedroom is 5x4m but does not have built in wardrobes. The house has a third small bedroom which you would be more than welcome to use as a study or your own space. We already have all living furniture and kitchen appliances so all you'd need is stuff for your bedroom. We also have unlimited internet so you are more than welcome to access that if you chip in to the bill. Our house is within walking distance of the beach and shopping centre as well as some bars/cafes/restaurants.
I am a full-time yoga instructor from New York on my working Visa until May. I am very easy going, clean, and organised. I love meeting new people, I am very social but I do enjoy my downtime. I am very respectful of others space and privacy. In my free time I enjoy exploring Tas, practicing my yoga, and discovering new eats with my friends. :)

Hi there, My name is Charlotte and I am a 25 year old high school teacher. I have lived in a lot of share houses so know the importance of respecting people’s space. I’m learning to garden, and trying desperately to keep my plants and worm farm alive.. with mixed success. I am happiest in the outdoors. I love to hike on the weekends, or read a good book. I teach History, Sociology and English, so often come home with funny stories to tell. I’ve got a German shorthaired Pointer dog. She’s indoor/outdoor and very well behaved and house trained. She loves to sun bake, or go for a beach run. She’s happiest when cuddling her humans.
We are looking to fill a large, sunny room in our north facing house. It's a two storey house - our bedroom is upstairs with the shared living area, main bathroom and kitchen. The room for rent is downstairs, along with a guest room, study and your own shower and toilet. We have furniture you can use (bed, shelves, desk etc), or you can bring your own. It's a quiet area, and we think it's the perfect balance between living in the city and still being close to the bush. We have a creek at the bottom of the property and Waterworks Reserve just up the road gives access via bike and walking trails to kunanyi. We have a small balcony, a bit of a veggie patch, like to compost and try to minimise waste/energy consumption where practical. Our preference is for short-medium term flatmates, and have some flexibility around this. Couples welcome, but with bills included the room would be $325/week. FYI the photo of the bedroom was taken early in the morning, hence it still looking dark outside! If you would like more photos just let us know :)
Hi guys, I am moving down to TAS in late Oct or early Nov from MEL for my full-time job. I am looking for a place hopefully in the CBD Hobart or nearby area. I am an introvert, usually quiet, so you don't need need to be worried about me being a party animal. I am also an easy person to get along with.
