The pictures don't give the house much justice! It's actually really beautiful on a hill in west Hobart with a pretty view from the sun room! Their are two living spaces to chill in.The kitchen is larger than the photo. The bathroom is kind of small and shared but there is both a bath and a shower. There is a laundry room and a biggish back yard with space to garden pretty much all around the house. The room for rent is quite large (in my opinion). With a lot of closet space, the only down side is that the view from the room is not great but I always just went into the sun room for the view. I'd also consider selling my $200 queen bed frame and foam mattress for cheaper. The white looks nice in the room. The internet it $19.50 every few weeks. There is heaps of street parking and it takes me about 3 min to drive to the city centre, and 8min drive to UTAS. A bus stop is also just down the road form the house. I'm moving away on the 10th of July and would like to have someone renting as soon as possible after the 10th. One week from that day Utas semester 2 starts back up, so that is convenient for a student to settle in.
I'm a 30 y/o male from Denmark who's studying business and engineering. I'm in my final year of my degree and I've been in Hobart since February. I used to work in the navy which means that I'm neat around the house. I like quiet evenings and I usually keep to myself although I do like the occasional glas of wine or a night out.
The property is located in the heart of historic Battery Point and is within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. The house has old world charm combined with modern appliances. A good size garden is also available.
I currently live in Burnie Tasmania but am looking to move to Hobart within the next month, I'm a friendly, easy going person. I have respect for other people's privacy and belongings. I do like to go out and I will be working full-time. I hope to find another gal who has a good personality and won't be any drama.
Hi! I'm Willow, 20 years. Currently living in the beautiful Blue Mountains, a 2 hour drive from Sydney. I'm coming to Tassy to study a Bachelor of Science full-time. I'm passionate about the environment and love yoga and adventuring in the outdoors and anything arty + love dancing! I'm friendly, and easy going, tidy and respectful. I currently work in childcare also. Sometimes I'm quiet and like time to myself, and also like to hang out and socialise. I look forward to meeting some new people!
An incoming UTAS graduate student, I enjoy fun and insightful conversations and outdoor activity (sports, treks, etc). I'll selfishly boast as well that I can strike a chord with absolutely anyone. Look forward!
I'm Courtney, 19 years old. I have moved to Hobart from Melbourne to start my Uni course in Natural environment and Wilderness studies and it will be my first time living away from home. I also currently have a casual job at Rebel Sport. I'm a really easy going, reliable person who will keep things clean and tidy and enjoys cooking (vegan) food with friends. I came to Hobart to experience all of what life as a uni student has to offer, make some lasting friendships and enjoy this beautiful new home of mine.
I have maybe found a 2 bed place in Soho - interested? get in touch asap. I like good communication, friendly atmosphere, people, cat, being environmentally conscious, being open and socialising, cooking. Sing if you want to sing, laugh if you need to laugh, cry if you need to cry - interested in living with people who are authentic in the world. I drink very rarely. Not interested in altering the mind through anything other than yoga, breath, good conversations and the amazing beauty of the world around us. (PS, I am slightly older than my age listed but I am always told I act/look younger so I may as well knock some years off! Why not?!) Interested in starting up a share house, or a room in a house. Like to live with at least one other.
I am quite, clean and respectful. I do not smoke or drink and I like to socialise although also respect the privacy of any roommates. I am moving to Tasmania from New South Whales as I am attending the University of Tasmania commencing in 2018 to study psychology. I like to draw and read a lot in my spare time so I am fairly quite and introverted but I'm always up for a chat. I can cook and clean for myself and have lived out of home in various cities alone before so I am very independent and responsible. I hope to hear from you soon!! :)
I'm a 19 year old full-time student at UTAS, I'm doing a Bachelor of General Studies (Arts) Pathway. I am also currently looking for work. I generally keep to myself and I'm a pretty laid back person. I spend most of my time at Uni or in my room. I would preferably like somewhere that doesn't mind visitors as I would like my boyfriend to be able to visit me once a week or so. I am a quiet person but I also enjoy conversations with others. I have basic cooking skills and I am a clean & tidy person.
