Not sure why people keep missing this: it's a VEGAN home; because animal cruelty is wrong, and if you still eat meat, eggs or dairy you're paying people to hurt animals, which is animal cruelty, which, as we already agree, is wrong. Don't bother me if you still think hurting animals is ok because your taste-buds and social programming say it's ok, because it's not. It's just not ok. Anyhoo, this is a great, fully renovated small home close to both the Main Road and Augusta Road for buses, cafes, shops, supermarkets, chemists et al. It's close to everything essential, superb inside and the garden is very low maintenance. Warm, double glazed, insulated, heat pump, kind, friendly vibe. It is small so will suit one additional vegan housemate. Simple furnishings although they're not in the photos. All the basics are here, but your room is unfurnished. You'd be sharing with only one other person. It's a plant-based food home, so if you're vegan or nearly there it'll be a great fit, or if you're ready to commit to plant-based food that's a good start. If you're "vegetarian" but "still eat eggs, dairy, and some meat" just forget it. See above. I prefer to keep shared areas tidy. No-smoking home. You'd need to pass real estate approval and be added to the lease. The full rent is $450/week, so you'd be paying half that, i.e. $225/week, and half the bills. We could negotiate down a bit if you were interested in doing the house work and low maintenance gardening every week. The property is described as "Beautifully Renovated Character Home, Great Location. This lovely character home in popular New Town has undergone a full renovation, with quality fittings and fixtures throughout. Situated in a great location with mountain views, walking distance to schools, shops, transport, parks and an easy commute to the CBD. From the moment you enter you will appreciate the attention to detail and quality workmanship that has gone into making this such a desirable home. Accommodation comprises of two good sized bedrooms, both have built-ins. Open plan living with efficient Daikin heat pump, kitchen is a chef's delight with under bench oven, ceramic hotplates, dishwasher, plenty of cupboards and even has a USB charging port! Spacious bathroom features a luxurious deep bath, separate shower, toilet and vanity, laundry facilities can also be found here. Storage and linen cupboards are situated in an area that could be utilised as a study nook or utility room, sliding glass doors lead out to the very easy to maintain garden. Added features of this fantastic home are a remote controlled electric gate, off street parking, double glazed windows throughout, lots of power points, TV outlets."
Hello ! We’re a clean and quiet student couple. I am moving Hobart for my Postgraduate degree. we understand the importance of privacy and respect the space of our flat mates but we also like to meet new people. We both like to cook and spend time outdoors.
My partner Julian and I are from the US, and are looking for a place in Hobart for 6 months. On our off days, we enjoy doing something creative or spending time outside. We're both very easy going and are always willing to lend a hand wherever possible. I would like someone easy going and honest as a roommate. Sweet, thank you!
Room with an ensuite bathroom available for rent in Kingston from January 2018. The room is in a 3 bed 3 bath townhouse with 2 parking spots. The house is fully furnished, though the room available for rent does not have a bed. The room is large with a massive walk in wardrobe and an attached balcony which has views of Mt. Wellington and Kingston Beach. The ensuite has a shower, toilet and a sink with ample storage. The tenant will have full excess to the kitchen with compartments for storage, as well as access to the laundry and the store room. The third room and bath is usually kept empty for visiting friends and family. The new tenant will be joining the lease and will have to be approved by the land lord and the real estate agency taking care of the property. The lease ends in early July 2018. The rent is $200 per week excluding all the bills. We have high speed NBN and the reception in the room is excellent.
Our home is the Zoo Keepers house attached to the Beaumaris Zoo on the beautiful Queens Domain. We have gorgeous view from our lounge room looking across to the Eastern Shore/Tasman Bridge. We have Foxtel in the family room with all sports, movie, documentary channels. Our home is a 10min stroll to the centre of town, hospital, Utas Medical school and of course the Doone Kennedy Aquatic Centre. We are smokers BUT strictly smoke OUTSIDE in a covered smoking area. Our son is school age and is mostly quiet except when he plays with his Transformers.
This 2 bedroom unit is located in a quiet complex in Glenorchy, close to supermarkets, public transport and gyms and only a 15 min drive to the Hobart CBD. The unit has off street parking, built-in wardrobes, standalone shower and bath, tinted windows, 2x heat pumps and a dishwasher. The common areas of the house are fully furnished, but the room is not. The kitchen-living area is quite cosy and it also features a spacious outdoor area equipped with a deck and BBQ for entertaining. The property gets a fair bit of sun throughout the day.

This house is close to the CBD yet quietly set close to Knocklofty reserve with visiting wallabies and birds. The veranda is a tranquil place to chill and look out over the city and the Derwent river. The house is clean and cosy with a fireplace in the loungeroom. The room available is large but split into two spaces, ideal if you need a separate study or studio space. There is also storage space under the house.
Property is in a quiet cul-de-sac. Has a lovely outlook overlooking the Derwent River. It is 15mins from Hobart and public transport is a short walk from the house. It comes fully furnished , the house is double storey and the rooms are available on the first floor. Bathroom number 2 is located on this floor which you can have to yourself. The property offers Netflix and Stan and unlimited wi-fi. I like to keep the property tidy and clean so it would be an expectation that you do as well. The Moonah shopping precinct is only a 10min walk away.
Hi! I'm an apprentice hairdresser at Sfumato Hair (2nd year), working full time. I love video games, motorbikes, playing guitars (quietly!), and anything directed by Edgar Wright. - If you guys feel like hanging out I'm usually keen, but if not I'm perfectly happy to put my headset on and stare at a screen for several hours. - I am currently working Mon-Fri so I can only come in to check out houses from 7pm and onwards on those days (free on weekends). - Don't have any pets but I love them all the same. - My only real requirement is to have a spot to put my PC desk that is close to an ethernet port (wifi doesn't really cut it, sadly). - Had about half a year of out of home living so far and haven't had any issues at all from any roommates or neighbours yet :) - Feel free to add me on facebook

Hi there, I plan to move to Hobart to pursue further education in Medicine at UTas. I have been living in shared houses for many years and love to meet new people. I am originally from Melbourne however i would be moving to Tasmania from Boston, Massachusetts. Studying medicine, i would prefer staying with other graduates / health sciences professionals; I am extremely clean, love to explore new places and plan to travel around the Island. I like being social but also prefer to have time to myself, to study and would prefer living with those that appreciate a clean house.
