Two mates moving down from Launceston to Hobart and looking for a third or possible fourth housemate in the Hobart area. I am currently going into my final year at uni studying teaching. Sam recently graduated uni and has gained a full time position in the Hobart area. We are both clean, easy to get along with, active, and outgoing. Looking for a third or fourth person to move in with to make the house a bit cheaper and also a bit nicer. Get in contact if you're interested! Looking to pay no more than $160pp each a week.
Hi! I'm starting Uni next year but currently live up on the East Coast so I'm looking for somewhere a little more reasonable travel-wise. Pretty much anywhere within bussing distance of either Hobart or Eastlands I can cope with. I have a casual job and I'm looking for a full-time one as well, but I also get Youth Allowance so I'm sorted for rent no matter what until I find one. I'm good at all the basic housemate stuff - getting along with people, not making a racket, cleaning up after myself, paying things on time et cetera and I'm also very chill and agreeable when it comes to working out how things are going to operate. I do smoke but only cigarettes and only outside, I'm happy to go for a wander completely off the property to do it if it's going to bother anyone. Also, my weird name makes me super easy to find on social media so feel free to look up if you'd like to suss me out a bit more. Let me know if you think we can work something out! Thanks!
New apartment close to shop, park, bus stops and university. Top story with a view and large balcony. Available room has an in-built wardrobe (BYO bed). The rest of the house is full furnished so no need to bring anything else. NBN network is being connected on the street as we speak so will be available very shortly.
Hi I've just moved back to Hobart from Townsville. I'm looking to find a flatmate to start a rental with. I have always lived in battery point and love the area. I'll be studying at UTAS next year and doing correspondence in vet science through JCU. other than that I'm starting up a new business, which is in the first stages. I enjoy keeping active and fit, I cook, occasionally entertain dinner guests. I spend a lot of time at home on computer, but enjoy the social wine or beer with a housemate. Neat, tidy. I have a whole house of furniture , I have been looking at some nice and affordable places around sandy bay and battery point. If you would like to start a new house share I would love to hear from you.
I’ve just finished university and I’m moving to Hobart for a full-time job as a graduate Podiatrist. I will need a place from late January 2017. I am already familiar with Hobart as I have completed placement there earlier this year and I have lived with others before whilst studying abroad in the UK. I am a sociable person who is honest and tidy. I also respect the need for peace and quiet- we all need some of this. I love chatting over a coffee, music and just having a good time! I will require a place to park my car (on-street is fine). Please contact me if I sound like I would fit into your current place or, if you’re also looking to rent and wishing to team up.
My name is Rebecca I have lived in Tasmania all my life, traveled overseas a couple of times and love the outdoors, camping, archery, kayaking, anything basically. I also like gaming , art, reading, animals. I have a 4 year old dog names Cassie, she is desexed and an indoor dog. I am a very clean person, happy to clean and help out people. I have two references one from my home now where i live with my landlord. I have no job currently but am looking for part time work. I am easy going and often keep to myself, but am happy to hangout. Thank you for taking the time to read this and i hope you have a lovely day!
I am moving to Hobart at the end of Jan 2017 to start a full time job, and would be open to teaming up and renting a house, or moving in to an existing share house. Just putting my name out there to see what's about.. I live a fit and active lifestyle, but don't mind a few quiet drinks of a weekend to unwind. I consider myself as friendly and easy going, and occasionally enjoy my alone time.
Hi! My name is Georgie. I'm looking for some housemates to move in with me and my current housemate/cousin, Sarah, at the end of January. We have a house in mind already - Sarah used to live there and knows the owners. It's located in Sandy Bay and is big, sunny, has a great deck for entertaining and lovely views. It's a short drive to the CBD with an open plan kitchen/dining/living area. I'm a barista/deportment teacher coming into my last semester of Uni in 2017. Sarah works in early learning and outside school hours care. Sarah has an outdoor cat named Pepsi. He's small, black and thinks he's a human. We're both friendly, easy-going and generally pretty quiet. We enjoy our netflix binges, espresso martinis and food. We'd like housemates who we could be friends with but we also understand the need for personal space. Our budget is $160 or lower per person, per week. If you'd like to have a chat to find out more about us, get in touch! We can't wait to hear from you!
We have a room available in our large 3-bedroom sharehouse. The house is large and comfortable, sunny, north-facing, and has wonderful views and a large garden. 2 minutes' walk to the bus stop or a 6 minute drive to the city. The room rent includes free NBN internet and a lockup garage.
$140 per week for a room with 3 individuals. 6 to 12 month lease is flexible. The house is a well sized 1950s 4 bedroom house. There is a large front and rear yard (fully fenced at rear), bathroom on both levels with laundry downstairs. All main living areas are furnished and white goods include washing machine and dishwasher. There is sufficient parking for 3 cars on property and much more on the nature strip. Each room has an electric panel heater installed, main heating is a heat pump. I recently updated the floors from carpet to hardwood board and have used underfloor insulation to accommodate the change. There is also a spare rumpus room, shed and large amount of storage space down stairs. Bedrooms are as seen in photos. As it is a large property there is a level of up keep required with the garden too. I'm looking for young people who work or study( 2 mins walk to the bus stop). After people who are fun, vibrant, easy going, considerate and responsible.
Hi, I'm moving from Brisbane to Hobart to start at a new job in the city. Graduated from UTAS and moving back to Hobart but I need to find new housemates. I am a tidy person and can both hang out as well as give you your own private space. Please contact me if you are keen to look for a house together. Thanks.
Moving to Hobart from Brisbane for new job/lifestyle/climate. Will be working in CBD full time, commencing early January - I come from a corporate law background, but don't judge me - I'm still human... Plenty of experience in share houses - very mindful of keeping communal areas tidy and considerate of others' privacy etc. Would probably prefer private bathroom but not essential. Love to meet some friendly faces and get to know some locals. Obviously love the outdoors/hiking and broadly enjoy most of what Hobart has on offer (hence the big move). Very easy going. Enjoy evenings out occasionally, movies, a cheeky drink, music etc. Married, but will be living in Hobart solo for at least the first 6 months while we make the transition down - looking for a sharehouse where there is no issues if my wife comes down approx every month for a weekend.
Hi there! My name is Emma. I am 21 years old and have scored a new grad job at the Royal Hobart Hospital starting in January! I'm easy-going, friendly and tidy. I have spent the past three years in a share-house so I hopefully know by now what it means to be a good housemate! I love being in the outdoors, going on adventures, being healthy and active but also love a cheeky wine and cheese. I enjoy hanging out with my flatmates, but I also respect others and enjoy my own personal space. If you feel I would fit in well with your house, please don't hesitate to message me! I am also interested in team-ups if that is preferred - I am moving from Newcastle so I'm excited to meet some new, fun people. Look forward to hearing from you!

In the last 6 years I have lived in the UK, although I am originally from Spain. I have just moved to Hobart in order to start a PhD in wildfires. I like to be among people, but I tend to this outside home. I also enjoy being on my own and focused on my work. My main hobbies these days are travelling, dancing (salsa and bachata) and scuba diving. I am looking forward to travelling around Australia and visiting places such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, etc. I love clean and tidy spaces. I understand that everyone is different and I respect all lifestyles and ways of thinking, but the place where I live needs to be neat and well-kept. I do not mind housekeeping. Some of my interpersonal skills are affectionate, good listener and team player. I love the concept of 'mindfulness' and I try to apply it to each aspect of my life. I love trying all sort of new things. This includes food, sports, new hobbies, meeting people from multiple cultures, volunteering, etc. I am very flexible and I love change.
Luxurious, tastefully furnished, light filled and very warm, welcoming home with relaxing gardens. Spacious and modern house with great views over the river. It is less than a 10min drive to Utas and a shorter drive to Kingston, also on the bus route. The house is completely furnished, except for the two bedrooms available which have built in robes.
Hi guys this is a beautiful spacious property with a large bedroom that has a beautiful wooden fire place (its just for show haha) ! You will be living with two super lovely girls who work in hospitality and are super welcoming! The house is so close to the city; to walk its 10 minutes and getting home you can jump on a West Hobart bus which takes around 10 minutes. You will be renting through the realestate and rent is paid however you choose to set it up!
I will be coming to Hobart in February 2017 and starting post graduate study in UTAS. I am looking for a room/flat to share which is within biking distance from the university. I am a neat and tidy person, and could keep communal spaces immaculate. I am quiet and appreciate my 'me' time but enjoy socialising on occasion. I am from Malaysia.
We have a double bedroom available in a large house in South Hobart in easy walking distance to the city and uni. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 lounge rooms, a large yard and 2 bathrooms. The bedroom is unfurnished but otherwise the house is fully set up!
I am a musician studying at the UTAS conservatorium of music, but I am happy to do my rehearsing at the conservatorium, rather than in the house. I am a singer-songwriter, pet lover and movie watcher. Quite chatty and get along with almost everyone! (at least I think I do...)
Hello! I am Malaysian Chinese. I'm going to my master study in Feb 2017 and now looking for someone who can share house or somewhere going to rent. Hiya! I'm Sheerene, I am 21 years old. I'm from the border of NSW and VIC. I've just got myself a job in central Hobart hairdressing and possibly looking to get some night work bartending. Looking to stay in Hobart for a minimum of a year, but could be more. Keep to myself pretty well, like to keep busy, and I'm clean and pretty quiet. Enjoy a night out here and there, and am pretty artsy. I have a house trained rabbit called Wanda but am happy to keep her as an outside bunny. Would love a chill housemate(s) that doesn't mind a bit of socializing here and there.
I generally keep to myself, I don't drink, I love dogs, I have a full time job in the city, and I'm looking at getting a motorbike license. I love video games and tv shows. I'm looking for a place to move into so I can be more independant. Open to teaming up and finding a place. I'm on a pretty low budget.
