Hi, my name is Winnie! I will be moving from Melbourne and starting a radiography internship mid-February. I'm friendly, honest and quiet. Very clean and will always keep things very tidy. I enjoy netflix, watching movies and been recently bingeing games on the Nintendo Switch. I'm looking for someone who is friendly, respectful and also enjoys their personal space.
Looking for a place to call home! I'm about to begin my second year at UTAS, and am working 3-4 days a week. I'm very easy going and friendly, and I enjoy a wine or two but also like my quiet nights in. Preferably looking for a place with female housemates around my age and close to uni!
I have recently graduated and am moving from Sydney to Hobart at the end of February for full-time engineering work. I am easy going, but also organised when it comes to payments and keeping things clean etc, so I am searching for flatmates with similar qualities. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, exploring the surroundings, listening to music and reading. I like to chat and socialise, but respect everyone's personal space and privacy. As I will be working full-time, I am not looking for a loud and rowdy party house, just a relaxing place to wind down.
Set up living zones in a traditional or different ways (3 to 4 bedrooms, home business, dine and lounge in different rooms, etc..) Lease property (and have flatmates). Use your imagination to set up the zones to be shared and or private spaces. Use different areas to dine, rest, relax, sleep, do hobbies, party or have fun and more - maybe run own in home business. Traditionally use the atrium, 3 bedrooms (Master has 5 huge built ins and external access), dining, NBN connection, lounge with extra space, kitchen, bathroom, laundry (also dishwasher option), court yard (under cover or outside), WC, and sun-room. Using your ideas: * Make use of the large sun-room as a theater room, play room, games room, yoga area, dining room or a 4th bedroom. (It is reasonably large enough as a multi purpose room) * Make use of the atrium as a place to gaze at the stars, a day bed to read, relax/rest, coffee/snack area, and enjoy the garden * Use the bathroom to bath, relax or have fun - comfortable for up to 3 children or 2 adults * Feel the low to high pressures and temperatures of the shower (maybe use candles next to the bath) * Open/close the lounge-atrium sliding doors (1 to 5) to feel the connection of outside and inside. * Use the under cover court yard area as a 3rd option to dry clothes, better yet relax on outdoor furniture or entertain others. * Use the sealed court yard to relax, enjoy mountain views, entertain in or park a car next to the garage. * Sit on the timber deck to enjoy a drink, the mountain view or set it up as a play area. * Make the most of the natural light or filter it or make it darker using different curtains and or furniture * Create a reading space beside the lounge room or elsewhere * Open/Close the atrium and sun-room doors to feel/transfer cool or warm air (it is possible to save money) * You may decide to frequently change the use of rooms, decor/furnishings so it feels like your on holidays. * Could use the front room with its own entry as a home business So enjoy the peace, quite and privacy as it is gated and fenced all the way around plus the neighbors I have experienced are friendly, quite and respect your privacy. Have a wonderful 2019 P.S You may like to have the main lease and take in flatmates.
Hi, my partner Travis and I, together with our pup Chessy, are searching for somewhere to call home after spending summer in our van, camping our way around the country. As we are both full-time university students--Travis in physics and maths and myself in The Arts for creative writing--we spend the majority of our lives studying but in our downtime, you'll likely find us on a spontaneous adventure or else in a sunny spot in the garden. We are passionate about minimalistic, sustainable living and enjoy growing our own food, preparing and sharing it with our housemates. We would appreciate sharing a house with other tidy, like-minded individual(s) who are open-minded and enjoy intelligent conversation over a cup of tea (or a bottle of wine). As for the furry member of our family; she is an affectionate, five-year-old, medium-sized mixed-breed. Chessy is friendly with other dogs, adores children and the only thing she loves more than chasing a ball in the beach, is a cuddle. In terms of housing, we are flexible as long as the house has a positive vibe. A stretch of grass for Chessy to run around and room to roll out a yoga mat would be a bonus. Contact Stevie or Travis on 0422542541.
Free onstreet parking, no time limit. Close to the CBD (only a 2km walk to the hospital, so perfect for shift workers). Close to the highway so it’s very easily accessible, and traffic noise is not very noticeable at all. Black buffalo pub just across the road. Unlimited internet (not included in rent cost) and netflix is also available.
Living with two people, 1 male, 1 female, as well as a beautiful Rhodesian Ridge back who is a gentle giant. Views of the ocean and an enclosed back yard. Walking distance to the shops, beach only 800m walk away. Air conditioning in the house. Not suitable for students. Not suitable for couples
Hi, just move from Melbourne to this beautiful part of the world for studying language and work, looking to run a small business there. I'm very open minded and love to have a chitchat, love going out explore new places but its fun to have some alone time too.
I'm a Tassie native, working in hospo and I'll be studying full time this year. I'm looking for a room as my current lease ends in early February. I'm a clean and considerate housemate. I value privacy and personal property, and I aim to leave things how I found them. I believe in being open and honest in all aspects of life. When I'm at home I'm reading, writing, or playing guitar. I like time to myself and I enjoy having house catch-ups.
I am a yoga teacher and youth mental health advocate in my early-twenties, who is ferociously passionate about good company + a decent cup of tea. I teach and practice yoga, in both local studios and schools. I am also an avid hiker, camper, traveller and adventurer at heart. I love exploring our incredible backyard and I am very proud to call Tassie home. People are my passion and I love great chats, but I am also deeply respectful and appreciative of downtime and one’s own space (everyone needs a lil hermit time to recharge). I am also clean, considerate, organized, responsible and very easy going. I have a huge heart and I do pretty much anything to make people feel valued + loved. I look forward to connecting with you! ox
We are looking for two friendly housemates to join us at our lovely house on Davey St, in the sought after leafy suburb of South Hobart. There are three bedrooms upstairs and a self-contained flat downstairs. There are two available rooms. The smaller of the two rooms is North-East-facing, so you get the morning sun and a view of the water, this room doesn’t have built-ins so a wardrobe or clothes hanger would be required. The larger room has built-ins, large windows and a fireplace (no longer in service). These two bedrooms share one large bathroom, which also doubles as a laundry. There is a large shared storage space in the garage and both on and off-street parking available. The house is mostly furnished, with white goods, lounge furniture, smart tv, kitchenware and appliances. Only the bedrooms are unfurnished! This property is in a great location for young professionals, still within walking distance to the CBD but has the advantage of being more quiet and reserved than the busier suburbs of Hobart. Our house is very close to buslines, a bus into the city only takes 10 mins. By car, it is only 5 minutes into the city. Weekly rent = $145/150 (depending on room) paid fortnightly in advance Bond = $725 NBN internet with unlimited data = $20 month Bills additional. We are a smoke-free household, and our lease doesn’t allow pets (sadly). If you think our place is what you've been looking for, shoot me a message and we can meet up or send through more information/photos if needed. Please message on Flatmates only, I can’t take calls when I’m at work. We would prefer to rent with other young females. But in the event that we don’t find someone suitable we would be happy to consider male housemates.
A beautiful, cosy old West Hobart house with a lovely garden and pizza oven. Gas cooking and a wood fire (which I'm happy to take care of) and other heating sources. Nice big bathroom (but only one) and good kitchen that gets bathed in morning sun. It is in a very quiet area but only 20 mins walk to the city and 5 minutes from North Hobart restaurant strip. The available room is large with a walk in wardrobe, a double bed and room for a desk.
