Hey Guys, I'm Sam. Hobart's a pretty cool place, I've lived here most of my life. Next year is looking a little bit up in the air for me, pondering a bit of travel but could also very easily stick around in town for a while to come! My current lease is finishing up and I'm looking for somewhere to lay my head for at least a few months over summer with the potential to stay around longer. I work full time in eco-tourism along with a little side gig at a bar, so in between all of that and travelling and catching up with some friends I don't tend to be at home a whole lot. When I'm around I love to have a chat and a wine, share a meal and a few laughs. I like to think of myself as a pretty clean and organised person to live with and always keen to help out and contribute to the household! My main base for work is located a little out of the city, so pretty open as to where I live as long as it's within a 15-20min drive to town. Look forward to chatting with you soon :)
My name is Grace, I am looking for a room in a share house or anywhere in Hobart. I am a positive, energetic & motivated person. I love any activities that involve being outside & trying new things. I am moving to Hobart for full time study & work. In-between that you can find me surfing, hiking or doing yoga. Love meeting new people and excited to explore Tassy. I have lived in a lot of dynamic share houses & travelling a lot so I understand the importance of respecting your own space and others.
Hi! My name is Ink. I am a student at UTAS majority in Zoology. I'm outgoing, chill, vegan, love to meet new people, and open minded. I am a responsible young man who have a passion for vacuuming lol, cook mean vegan tofu scramble, can party but also enjoy his day/night-ins binge watching Netflix series. Love the outdoors, nature, environment and animals.
So, I came to this beautiful state from over West a year ago and am looking to round up a posse of good peeps to establish a sharehome that's comfortable and fun to live at. I love cooking, hanging out, and chilling. I HAVE been known to party, and I tend to do that outside my place, but am not adverse to having a bbq on a sunny day or a few drinks while chilling at home ;) I've built a rich and full life for myself here in Hobart and would like to live with warm and happy people who appreciate having a lovely space in which to chill. I work at the Uni and would like to live quite close by there - would love to get an actual house with a bit of a yard and some space. Stace
This place is most suitable for you: - Only 7-8 min direct bus to Hobart CBD, bus stop is at the door steps - Only 5-min walk to UTAS Sandy Bay campus and all the amenities including Coles, Woolworths, 24-hr McDonald’s, boutique cafes, restaurants, banks, post office and large Asian groceries and everything - Your private furnished room - Your own clean bathroom with toilet - The place is quiet - You will save on bus fares and precious time A 4 week refundable bond needs to be paid to the Tas government and 2 weeks rent in advance.
Hello! Annnnnd come on over to the sunny east side! I'm looking for someone to move in and take on half the lease/bond of the townhouse I live in, current contract until AUG 2019. It's 3 stories, gets all day sun and has a deck capturing magical water and mountain views. There is off street car parking for both my car + 1 other plus the garage. It's 13mins drive from the CBD and has a Metro bus stop 50meters away, see closest bus timetable in pictures. Sadly there is no facility for an NbN/internet connection. The spare room is empty and spacious with a built in wardrobe. You'd also have access to the main bathroom all to yourself. I'd ideally like to keep the downstairs bedroom vacant as a study/guest/storage room for both of us to use. It's not big enough for another person. Penny also lives here too, she's a medium sized outside dog during the day and sleeps downstairs of a night in near the garage. She is let in sometimes of an evening for a cuddle upstairs. I already have a fridge, washing machine, furnished living spaces which I'm happy to share. You'd just need to fit out your room and you're welcome to put a desk, other items etc. in the study as this is also currently empty. Extra deck furniture also welcome.
I am 30 and a full time shift worker at the Royal. I enjoy the great outdoors and generally have a pretty busy schedule. Having said that, I do like to think of myself as easy going, tidy and considerate. I have a small friend called Kate (cat) and she is 6, fully house trained and an absolute little champ.
I am a female Brazilian living in Melbourne for the past 6 years, moving to Hobart due to a job offer. I am married with 3 furry kids, but I am moving by myself, at least for the first year. I consider myself an excellent cooker and an even better wine drinker! lol I am very fun, organised and clean. I am looking for a short term accommodation until I find a definitive place.

Hello, I'm Maggie and I'm from San Diego, California. I will be moving to Hobart to work as a nurse in November. I'm looking for places close to CBD (where my hospital is) because I don't have a car yet. Looking to move in around Nov. 26th. About me: -I'm a down to earth Californian girl, outgoing and full of positive energy. -I traveled extensively through North, Central American and Asia, and I'm very respectful toward other culture. -I like to have time for myself and I respect others privacy too. But I would love to hang out when we are both available. -On my days off, I like to try different restaurants/bars and travel around to see different things. I LOVE the ocean and spend a lot of time on all sorts of water sports (paddle boarding, scuba diving and sailing). -I don't leave mess around the house, and expect my roommate to do the same. Please message me if you think we are compatible. I would love to have coffee and see if we can work something out. Thank you!

Hi I'm looking for a room from around early December as that's when my lease ends, I currently live in South Hobart and would like something similar or in North/West Hobart - not too far from the city. I'm looking for a household with good positive vibes, a good standard of cleanliness and most of all some awesome flatmates! I'm a very much outdoors person, almost every weekend I end up hiking or exploring new places I've never been to before, I also enjoy finding the best places for food and coffee, and will drive out my way if its worth going - especially if it involves cheesecake!! I'm probably one of the most laid back people you'll ever meet and definatley as the saying goes the best things in life are free. I enjoy the gym and climbing during the week on a night, and enjoy a good steak and beer on weekend. Also dont mind living with animals as I would love to have my own dog in a few years. Any questions just ask :-)
Hi, My name is Lidia, I'm 27 years old and I'm a PhD student at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain). I have been invited for a short stay in a lab in Kingson, that's why I'm looking for a place to live. If I have to describe myself as a flatmate, I would say that I'm clean and kind. Coming to my hobbies, I like being with my family and friends, listening to music, reading books, watching TV series and doing some exercise. That's all about me!
We have an un-furnished bedroom available in our share house in New Town. The rest of the house is furnished with three bedrooms with a spacious kitchen / dinning area, living room and deck. The house has off street parking but it is very narrow so we tend to utilise all the free parking spots on the street. The house is in a great location close to bus stops and a 2 minute walk to the Hill Street Grocer on Augusta Road and 10 minute walk down to the North Hobart strip. Rent is $130 per week, not including electricity or wifi. The landlord is conducting some renovations on the house over the next 6 months (painting, new lights + carpet), it is intended the room will be painted (white) prior to the new tenant moving in. But new blinds and carpet will be put in the bedroom within the next 6 months, these works will be completed during the day and should only take 1 business day as to not impact the new tenant. Please message - no calls
This property is in prime location Newtown with easy access to food shops and cafes nearby. It is only 5 minutes away from the city and has many bus stops nearby with frequent buses available. The house is fully furnished, though one of the bedrooms is not furnished. One of the bedrooms includes a double size bed though this room is available for 8 months only. The other bedroom does not include a bed. BOTH bedrooms have built in wardrobes.
