Super peaceful and relaxed house in an amazing location, right in the heart of Battery Point. Not the most modern place, but beautiful and light and with great views over battery point, the river, city, bridge, and up the mountain on the other side. (yeh its pretty great) The house is simply furnished, with a good little fireplace, spare room, and is a clean and quiet place thats amazing to call home. Rent is really cheap @ $166wk paid fortnightly and is split evenly between us, bills and internet on top. Your room is well sized, unfurnished, and looks out onto the big church across the road and back up with views of the mountain. You'll be living with 2 guys, both straight and single, one a paramedic and one a disability support worker. Harrison is in the room upstairs and Jeff is down on the second floor. Your room, along with the spare room and rest of the house is on the second floor too. We're both super easy going, clean and tidy, really respectful of noise etc and thats kinda how we like it. We're not boring or mormons but we love a mellow house, so we don't often have people round, have music blazing or have the standard big screen in the lounge. So sorry - no TV. You're totally welcome to in your room but when you see the view you'll realise it'd kinda spoil it. So a beautiful place to relax and wind down, have a laugh, cook up dinner, chat about whatever, and to do your thing too.
