$300/week33 year old woman

Hellllo! 👋 Beth here (33) I am on the hunt for a place to call home for the next couple of years 🏡 A bit about me: 💚 I’m originally from Melbourne and am moving to Perth in mid-late June to start the Master of Midwifery 🤰🏼 course at Curtin Uni 🏥 I currently work in health promotion and plan to work part-time while I’m studying in WA 🐾 Lover of all animals, I am Mum to two lovely little feline fur babies who will be accompanying me to Perth. Both are funny and friendly with their own characters but can be a little shy at first. 🐈‍⬛ Daisy (Tortie) is snuggly (wants to be under a blanket next to you but rarely on a lap) 🐈 Flynnie (Tabby) is cuddly (wants to be on a lap most of the time) When I’m not studying or working you can probably find me doing any of the following: 📚Reading - currently half way through Orbital by Samantha Harvey 👩‍🌾 Gardening - love to grow herbs and veggies, indoor plants, and occasionally flowers 👩‍🍳 Cooking/Baking - banana bread is my go to but I also recently discovered how easy and cheap making yoghurt is. I treat cooking like an experiment (I did a bachelor of science for my undergrad so this is no surprise 🧫 ) 🥾 Getting out in nature - love a good hike or relaxing day at the beach 🧘‍♀️ Staying active - walking, running, yoga 📺 Binge watching - the latest hype show or docuseries ☕️ Enjoying a catch up/coffee with friends and family ❤️ 🧼 I am very clean and tidy and respectful of common areas. I am not particularly an early bird and I try to keep noise to a minimum although love to have music playing in the background (Bon Iver/ Fleetwood Mac). Currently live with a house mate so am used to having other people around. 🕵️ I am looking for a cosy place to call home for the next couple of years either on my own or with 1 or 2 housemates. I would love to have a small outdoor area to grow some veggies and enjoy a natter and a morning coffee. I would love to live with housemates who also love animals and would love to have the cats around without the responsibility or feeding them and cleaning their litter tray. Hoping to live with housemates who aren’t opposed to sharing dinner 🍽️ (vegetarian for me 🥕) and a glass of wine 🍷 every now and then. I won’t know anyone when I arrive so would love to make some social connections at home. 🛏️ I’m hoping to find a queen size room or larger with an ensuite (not a deal breaker) and enough room for a small desk. 📍 Looking around Freo as it seems like it’s full of like-minded people but I’m open to other cool areas between Freo and Bentley. Also wouldn’t be opposed to somewhere north of the river. 💰 My budget would ideally not exceed $300 a week for rent and bills but I can be somewhat flexible with this. 🤞 I know it’s a bit early but if anyone has a room or place opening up in mid-late June and thinks I’m the housemate/tenant of their dreams, please reach out. I would love to have something sorted well before moving. I’ll be posting this on a few of the Facebook groups and on Flatmates.com so apologies if you see me everywhere for a couple of days. Thanks for reading ☀️🌻
