Our place is a beautiful old bluestone house only a 10 minute walk to West Tce. Easy access to Henley Beach road buses, walking distance to The Wheatsheaf. This property is very unique, it is one of the buildings of the old Ethelton Primary School. It has an amazing open plan feel, huge windows filling the space with natural light. I would have to say it boasts a state of the art kitchen. Beautiful polished jarra floor boards with carpeted bedrooms. The enormous balcony looks out to the west (stunning sunsets) and being upstairs offers great views over the area. 10-15 min walk to Ethelton Strain Station and 20-30 mins walk to beautiful Port Glanville, Semaphore beach. The beautiful, large and peaceful house on the esplanade with views along the coastline make this a wonderful place to call home. There is a surf break right at the front of the property and plenty more up and down the coast. Running tracks and other activities are close by with McLaren Vale wineries only 15 minutes away and great farmers markets just as close. It's right on the lake and with amazing views - so amazing that the big window serves the purpose of a TV :) I am slowly moving in and will furnish the unit over time. Our house is really large and spacious. There are two toilets, a separate bathroom and separate washroom. The back of the house is all open plan living, kitchen, dining and can be closed off from the bedrooms and bathrooms. The backyard is quite large with a shed, large undercover porch area and driveway is continued down to the shed. Unfortunately one of the roommates leaving has a lot of the furniture so any furniture and kitchen equipment would be welcome. We think the location is pretty ideal. It’s close to the city and easy access to the beach. We are one street back from the river – about 150m walk. Across the footbridge is Brickwork’s and everything you need is there – food, supermarkets, alcohol, coffee, zambrero’s… Room 2 is available straight away and room 1 will be available from the 2nd of September. Bond is $720.00 for both rooms (not 4 weeks rent as above) and you would be signed onto the lease. The lease is up on the 3/02/2018 however it is highly likely that the owner will be happy for us to resign again.
