It's a simple, old house with a huge (dated) kitchen. If you're looking for flashy and modern, save your time and read no more. If you're okay with simple and want to have a quiet space to call your own in a neighborhood that's close to Flinders, a 30 min bus ride (or bike ride) to UniSA West then keep on reading! :-D There's a half bath in the laundry area and plenty of storage. If you're a couple and want to move in, cool! But add $50/wk. It's really easy access to Main South Road and the Expressway. There are cafes and pizzerias in walking distance. Easy to get to Goodwood. Ample bike storage (this is a cyclist's dream spot!). There is off street parking ---we can share the driveway---street space is never an issue :) There is a cat that comes and goes. She doesn't like most people so there's the chance you'll never see her...but, if you're allergic to cats, this isn't the spot for you. She's also the de facto landlord. Not kidding. A/C and a gas heater in the lounge. During the hottest of summer days, the house stays pretty cool. There's a ceiling fan in your future room and built in wardrobe's. There's also a small a/c unit in the room and a space heater. Some furniture can be provided. It's a pretty good size room with lots of sunlight. The third bedroom is for guests (yours or mine) and I use it as a study/office type room (you are also welcome to use it as an office/guest room). In the rumpus room there are some free weights, a weight bench, other exercise equipment and a stationary bike, tv/dvd, fan and storage space. Nice size front and back yards...in the back there are fruit trees, a large covered patio with furniture for hosting or just hanging out. There's a bbq (needs fuel). If you're an ice hockey player, there's a shed out back with a net and some fake ice for shooting and puck handling practice. Washing machine and a large clothesline outside. $16 Uber home from town, close to the beach, Coles, Micky D’s and a decent chip shop up the road and a couple different bus options only a short walk away. We have internet (mostly used for Netflix) bbq, house cleaner every fortnight ( $25 each ) air conditioning/heating and a swim spa! Who else has one of those!? There are currently three girls and a Jack Russel living here. We’re fairly quiet during the week and usually go out to socialise rather than bring it here but we’re not opposed to the odd bevvy and a chat now and then. Would prefer someone that has houseshared before but generally just a respectful, courteous person.
