In the interest of convenience, a tall built-in wardrobe is huge and accommodating with sliding mirrors that hide a great deal of storage space, including a hidden passage to your own spacious bathroom. This private bathroom has a double shower, linen cupboard, large stone vanity and theater green-room style mirror with two levels of lighting making it a very clear space to use. The bathroom is naturally illuminated by a skylight when not in use. There is also a mattress and bed frame available to your room if useful. The room is $320 per week, or +50 (370pw) for couples. Rent is paid fortnightly in advance. This amount is also inclusive of all water usage, gratis. House bills are then down to three shared costs, which we pay as a whole; Internet, elec and gas. Bond is 4 weeks rent to get the key ($1280). The house is furnished throughout yet it is large for the few of us living here, so there is space to feature more if you have things you'd like to contribute, no worries. There are pull-down stairs up to an attic and a deep LUG that can fit a further 3 cars worth if you simply have heaps with you to store. In the laundry I have a reliable dryer and a lovely top-end washing machine that I recently gifted the house from David Jones. We otherwise have ducted heating, air-conditioning, 2 full size fridges, a glorious 6 burner oven that is a real feature and a BBQ within a private, decked, internal courtyard. There is also a bar in the living room with another hotel-size bar fridge, overhead windows, a back-lit drafting table if you're an architect or designer, and unique pieces of prized furniture such as Achille Castiglioni's Arco, to name a few basics. With a high roof above and hallways to channel air flow, the house is uniquely comfortable in our peaceful street where a keen boat builder crafted it; if you enjoy architectural terms, it can be experienced as a mix of Spanish Mission–Californian Bungalow. Our breezy cul de sac leads off the busy road, which is opposite a cheerful junior college, so local speed limits make road noise further gentle right around our home. The local train station has also just been fully refurbished after many months in construction and the area is peppered with European strada-window cafe's, which become a convenient asset when you're busy.
