Our place is a very short walk to Oxford st in Balmoral which has plenty of restaurants and pubs/breweries to check out. There's parks walking distance away and is a very lively area. It's also close to the ferry to go straight across to Teneriffe or to the city and the city is only 15mins away by car.

The room up for grabs is a good size, opening up onto an awesome big deck with bbq and lots of green gardens, with both reverse cycle air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The kitchen is great to cook in - Gas hot plates and stove, dishwasher and plenty of fridge and pantry space. The bathroom is large and features a jet powered shower/jacuzzi, shared with one other. Nice big tele with foxtel and netflix and a big floppy comfy couch. And lots of yard area and private spots to chill. The room is available from 18th May, but if needed you can move in earlier as there's another spare room to stay in until Claire moves :)
the unit is positioned in a quiet block of 5 units on a leafy street in balmoral. it is well looked after and fairly newly renovated with wooden floorboards and carpet in the bedrooms. the bathroom is simple and modern and has an internal washing machine and dryer. its fully furnished except the advertised bedroom. i've been using the bedroom as an office but will move my furniture out. water is included in the rent, but i pay for power and internet which would be shared between us. there's an enormous garage downstairs which is available as I don't have a car. buses are close by and morningside train station is about a 20 minute walk. the airport is a 10 minute drive.
