Buses are only a few minute walk away and the ferry's are also close by. It's also a nice $25 cab ride from the city/valley! Currently, no fridge due to previous roommate taking it with them but one will be purchased soon. Outside area is a nice area to entertain mates, comes with a charcoal barbie. This flat is close to Hawthorne Park, Hawthorne Cinemas, Shopping, Restaurants, Schools and is easy to clean. The townhouse is 10 minutes from the Hawthorne Ferry Terminal which can take you to QUT, Griffith and UQ within 40 minutes. Myself and my partner are starting up a share house with a friend. We have been looking in Hawthorne and have come across a very lovely, big house with four rooms. The room downstairs my partner and I would take as its a bit bigger and there are two of us. There are three other rooms upstairs. One of the rooms has a walk in wardrobe, aircon, ceiling fan and its own bathroom (this is the biggest one upstairs and it is pretty big!) another one is a bit smaller but has aircon, a ceiling fan, and a walk in wardrobe that goes through to a share bathroom. The last room has built in wardrobes and a ceiling fan, aircon and is a decent size. All the rooms in the house are a good size. The house is very spacious with two living areas, three decks and ducted aircon throughout the whole house. The way we would price the rooms, would probably be the two smaller rooms that share a bathroom would be $170 each, the large one upstairs with its own bathroom and walk in would be $190 and the room downstairs that we would take would be $270 as there are two of us. The house is in very good condition and its in a great location, it is right near restaurants, cafes, hawthorne cinema and hawthorne park. You can also catch the ferry across to new farm and be in the valley in no time!

This two beddie flat is located in Hawthorne just on the Southside of Brisbane city CBD. Located close to different services such as parks, Sports clubs, bars, restaurants and cinemas. It is definitely a young persons area. Also located 300m from the Hawthorne ferry and 50m to bus stops. It is an extremely safe part of Brisbane as well. Neighbours are all really friendly. My brother and I tended to have a few brewskies on weekends and there has never been complaints. Located on the second floor we also get a good view of balmoral, bulimba and Hawthorne. The whole apartment is furnished, just missing a bed while the bedroom has its own built in robes.
