The house is located in Watsonia and is walking distance to supermarkets, Watsonia shops, the 513 and 566 busses and Watsonia Station (Hurstbridge line). La Trobe University and Greensborough Plaza are a 5-10 min drive away. The house has everything you'd expect in terms of washing machine, dryer, stovetop, microwave, fridge, oven, etc. There is air conditioning, heating and a wood fire as well. I also have a cat so you must be animal friendly!
Our townhouse is situated in an adorable street filled with beautifully well kept homes and lot's of greenery. Along the street there is plenty of visitors parking spots for friends and family to park close and securely for when they come to say hello, and if you have a car yourself we have a double car garage in a gated area shared with the houses around us, which makes it very secure! The bottom floor of our townhouse includes a spacious living and dining area, a medium sized kitchen with extra space at the very back (still trying to work out exactly what to do with that space, maybe you could help!). There's also a guest toilet, a laundry and of course the backyard! The backyard includes a BBQ, a small terrace with a table and chairs, a walkway down to the washing line and also a big patch of grass on the side (looking at getting a large inflatable pool to sit there for summer time!). The top floor only has the three bedrooms and the shared bathroom. The room that we are currently presenting for rent is decently sized and has built in wardrobes and storage space. It is a well lit room with three windows which gives you views of the trees around us and our backyard. The bathroom will be shared with only one other person (female) and includes both a shower and a bath and has plenty of storage space underneath the sink. There is also a toilet which is seperate to the bathroom. We have unlimited internet (extra $) which does seem to be slow at times, so if you are a heavy internet user and would like faster internet, we would be happy to look for something better together at a price range that suits all. We also have (seperate) heating and cooling systems. If you are a smoker, we have no issue with this as long as you smoke outside. We also have two small dogs (Maltese x toy poodle and Maltese x jack Russell) so you must be okay with dogs! There's an oval just a two minute walk away if you enjoy exercising and going for walks, or theres a massive reserve about a 5 minute drive away (maybe a 20-30 minute walk?) that is perfect for long walks and runs. Greensborough Shopping Centre is a 5 minute drive down the road as well! LaTrobe University is also only a 5-10 min drive away! Macleod train station is a 10-15 minute walk away and there is a bus to LaTrobe situated at Macleod train station that will get you there in 8 minutes!

Hi there, welll the house is a lovely characteristic heritage listed huge 3bm house with a sunroom and 2 garages, heaps of space for storage or whatever.. huge back & front yard with fruit trees & chirpy birdys. The house has italian wallpaper and kitch stuff like an ironing board in a cupoboard! Across the road is a HUGE park, I dont even know where it ends.. great for bike rides! We all do our own thing so no pressure on social stuff tho of course the odd chat in the kitchen over a cuppa from time to time. Also a 14yo cat lives here, she's lovely but doesnt like other animals sorry. Theres a servo next door which shuts at 10pm each night, handy for ice cream runs :P The room can come unfurnished if you like but atm theres a queen size bed and cupboards and a table in there :)
