Flatmate has moved out and thought I might try my luck here for an awesome flatmate! 32 yo guy here living at an awesome sunny pad complete with a balcony. The place is 2 min walk from Dulwich Hill train and light rail station. They will get you to the city in around 20 min. The flat is fully furnished and I've even got a piano if you play it. Sizeable kitchen. Got washing machine and a dryer as well. There is also a nice little park right next to the flat. It is nice to just go there to chill, read book and get to know the neighbours.. Rent is $235 pw, excluding bills with a built-in wardrobe, but otherwise unfurnished. I also have a habit of buying most shared household consumables for the flat. So no, you won't find yourself having one of those emergency situations where there is no toilet rolls to be found anyone in the house when you urgently need to do your daily "due". Hehe. Flat comes with an off-street parking spot. Owner doesn't allow any pets (fairly sure he specifically meant standard cats & dogs and excludes pet fish, pet turtle, pet hamster or pet rocks in case that any of those apply to you). The best thing about this place (aside from a cool housemate) is it's location and the brightness of the house. The house has a lot more light than what the photos depict and a small balcony. There are busses on our street, the light rail is right across the road and Dulwich Hill train station is a short walk away. There are too many cafes to choose from around the area, as well as a supermarket and few a cute parks. It is a nice balance of being super close to the city and access to transport, but just far enough away from it all that the vibe of the area is quite relaxed. The house itself I have furnished; washing machine, fridge, kitchen appliances etc. So all you really need to bring is yourself and your bed. My housemate has also offered to leave behind her clothing rack and bedside table if you would like them.
