Hi there I have two rooms coming up for rent from mid August, just getting them ready at the moment. One large room and one small room, bed 2 and bed 3 as shown on the house plan. This is a awesome restored mid-century home. Its at the end of a Calder sack which means very little traffic other than the other home owners on the street. The Avoca Hotel is just around the corner literally 1min walk if you like a good local pub. I have a large front a rear yard with a lovely deck and bbq setting ready for entertaining. The house is pretty much 15mins drive to all the things that make Adelaide a great place to live. 15mins to the beach, city, airport, universities or entertainment and sporting facilities. There are also buses and trains nearby, I cant tell you much about them as I don't use public transport at the moment. there is parking available on the street and has been a very safe and quiet area to live in, touch wood so security isn't a worry for me but I'm still very security conscious none the less. House is fully equipped with most things you would need, ie kitchen tools and living and dinning room furniture. I have been thinking of getting a couple of international quiet and respectful students so furniture is provided unless you have your own. The large room has a built in wardrobe, book shelf, desk and bed (size to be determined). The small room has a built in wardrobe, desk and bed (size to be determined). The rent is a guide atm and I will update once I've gone over the bills for the last 12 months to better gauge what usage should be, I think including bills in the rent makes things easier and cleaner for all. The location is great, on Cross road for convenience, but tucked away so it is nice and quiet. Buses and trains are a 5 minute walk away and about 10 minutes drive to both Flinders Uni and the city or 20 minutes by bike. Supermarket is 500m away and there are restaurants nearby. The neighbours are quiet but friendly and there is quite a lot of green space and I have a little garden on the porch. But unfortunately there is no enclosed yard so no pets.
