Brand new townhouse that I've moved into in a new estate. It's three bedrooms (I'm in the master) and my housemate and I need a new flatmate for the third bedroom as our other housemate has bought her own place and has left us us. Modern ground floor townhouse/unit, 2 minute walk to Bluff Road Coles, 5 minutes drive from Hampton/Sandringham/Highett train stations and the beach. Please keep in mind that the pictures are pretty average because they were taken at night and include the previous tenants furniture. I promise you the place looks WAYYYYY nicer in person - the pictures here simply don't do it justice! I am away on holiday for the next week but will put up more current pictures ASAP! Your room is a decent size (can easily fit a double or queen bed and bed-side tables, as well as a small desk), has built in robes, and is on the opposite end of the house from my room so added privacy. You will also have your own bathroom (literally right outside your room - so basically an ensuite) with bath, shower and toilet. Your room is currently unfurnished, however the rest of the apartment is fully furnished. And just when you thought things couldn't get any better - you even get your own undercover parking spot in the secure remote garage!! The place overall is also very secure and has intercom and electric security gates for garage and walk-in entry. As far as the rest of the place goes, there is a really nice courtyard with a small deck (room for BBQ) that gets heaps of sunshine, and a garden area as well. There is a laundry with washing machine, large open plan modern kitchen/dining area and a large living area. Kitchen has stone benches and stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher). The stove and oven are electric so no gas bill to pay. I have unlimited internet, as well as netflix, stan and apple tv (large 50" tv in lounge room), and fantastic large windows throughout the whole place that let in heaps of natural light and lead out into the private courtyard. The place has heating and reverse cycle air-con. And of course - it's in a gorgeous spot - in between Hampton Street (i.e. the BEACH!) and Bluff Road. Cafes, supermarket, public transport all very close by! Bills/internet will be split between us (so by 2) and are paid every 3 months but aren't very expensive at all. Also more than happy to add you to the lease if you decide you want something more permanent!

The apartment is above woolies but down the end away from the station so you don't hear the trains. Clean and tidy and fully furnished at the moment but happy to move some stuff out. It is a 3 bedroom place but the 3rd room is currently used as storage, ironing, office etc. (which I am happy for you to use as storage too!) The outdoor balcony is currently boring, only a bean bag and bbq but wanting to update soon. You will have your own full bathroom (that is also the laundry too) but it isn't an en suite! Bills are not included in rent but usually elec is $60-70 per month, water is $50 per quarter and internet is $60 per month. (We will split 50/50!)

Mentone is a bayside suburb and my property is a 10 minute walk to where you will have the ocean lapping at your feet. My apartment is located 5 minutes from the train station and 20 minutes on the train will take you into the city. Mentone's main shopping district consists of trendy cafes, restaurants and 2 main supermarkets and is only a 5 minute walk from where I reside.
