Hi all! I’m looking for a housemate to sublet a room in the unit I’m living in. The unit is 2 bedroom, a little bit bigger than a standard 2 bedroom unit, it has a big living room, a nice dining area and kitchen, a bathroom and separate toilet, and 2 small courtyards. The room you’d be in is a single room with a built in robe, unfurnished. The rest of the house is furnished, so you’re welcome to bring just yourself and a bed, or add to the furniture and appliances I already have. The rent is $150 p/w not including bills. There’s plenty of street parking, but there’s also a lock up garage you can park in if you’re willing to pay a bit more per week. It’s a short walk to Blackburn and Nunawading stations, a good supermarket and some lovely cafes. The bedrooms, bathroom and toilet don’t currently have locks, but the landlord would be happy for us to install them at our own cost if we want. I’m looking for someone who’s pretty quiet, neat and responsible, who can communicate well and share the housework. Ideally they would be female, but I’m open to living with a male if they’re a good fit and we get along well.
