Hi all! I’m looking for a housemate to sublet a room in the unit I’m living in. The unit is 2 bedroom, a little bit bigger than a standard 2 bedroom unit, it has a big living room, a nice dining area and kitchen, a bathroom and separate toilet, and 2 small courtyards. The room you’d be in is a single room with a built in robe, unfurnished. The rest of the house is furnished, so you’re welcome to bring just yourself and a bed, or add to the furniture and appliances I already have. The rent is $150 p/w not including bills. There’s plenty of street parking, but there’s also a lock up garage you can park in if you’re willing to pay a bit more per week. It’s a short walk to Blackburn and Nunawading stations, a good supermarket and some lovely cafes. The bedrooms, bathroom and toilet don’t currently have locks, but the landlord would be happy for us to install them at our own cost if we want. I’m looking for someone who’s pretty quiet, neat and responsible, who can communicate well and share the housework. Ideally they would be female, but I’m open to living with a male if they’re a good fit and we get along well. In a perfect world, I’d also like someone who’s willing to do a trial period so that if it turns out to not be a good fit we can both walk away after a few weeks with no hard feelings. In terms of location, the apartment is a 3 minute walk away from Blackburn station and there is an IGA nearby for groceries. Also there are many cafes within walking distance. The apartment itself has air conditioning in the main room. There is also an outside balcony. Included appliances are: Fridge, Oven, Stove, Dish Washer and Washing Machine. The room has a large built in wardrobe and window and also located next to the main bathroom. Also there is an underground parking space for the apartment which you can use as I don't have a car.
The apartment is on the south side of Blackburn Train Station and is within view from the balcony. Very easy walk to a lot of cafes and restaurants with Woolworths about 1km down the road and IGA just around the corner. Open plan apartment with 2 bedrooms and an open area with the kitchen at the front by the door and the lounge and TV at the other end. The TV has a large collection of TV Shows and Movies to watch and there is a PS3 with a fair few games to play. The lease ends in February and I do not think I will be renewing.

Out home is in a lovely little court in a nice quiet and safe area in Nunawading and only a 5 minute walk to the train station, and the shoping centres, the house is a nice timber floor older home with a huge kitchen, huge shower and bathroom and a massive beautiful backyard that I keep looking nice.
