Hi there! Long or short term stays. We are not in any rush to find someone, would prefer the right person. We have a fully furnished room available from the start of May 2019. Ideal for international stays or professionals working close by. The room is furnished downstairs with queen bed, linen, side drawers, small desk and built in mirrored wardrobes. It's not an ensuite but there is a bathroom downstairs that you will have full sole use to (except for occasional toilet use). Ideal for student or professional. House is brand new and always kept clean and tidy. Laundry, lounge and kitchen all downstairs as well! The house is fully furnished. Fridge is massive so plenty of space for us to share! $170 per week is inclusive of utilities (gas, electricity, water), Internet, furniture rent and bed and bathroom linen (or $780 per calendar month). Happy for rent to be paid fortnightly, 4 weekly or calendar month but always in advance. Bond is $700. Other household items (washing liquid, toilet paper etc) are shared costs. About us; Laura is a 31 professional and works full time across 2 jobs. Phill is a 29 yo professional and also works full time. Both are friendly and up for a chat, but also appreciates their own space. We have a pet cat; Shadow who is an indoor/outdoor cat. He is very friendly and will request your attention almost immediately. You may struggle if u don't like cats. We were lucky to get permission for him from the landlord so no more pets sorry. We like to keep a relaxed yet clean house environment where each person cleans up after themselves and contributes to general household cleaning (I.e unpacking dishwasher, vacuuming, mopping, dusting etc). Because the house is new, it's easy to maintain! We’re also up for shared meals but not offended if you aren’t! We both have cars, but there is plenty of off street car parking if you also have a car. Upstairs consists of our bedroom, bathroom and a spare room. The neighbourhood from what we’ve experienced is quite relaxed. Neighbours are friendly enough to say hello if you see them, otherwise they keep to themselves. We're 700m walk to broadmeadows station which is roughly a 30min train ride to Flinders St station. Olsen place is a very short walk away that has a small grocer, chemist, doctors etc. Broadmeadows plaza is about a 15min walk away. The place is also extremely close to the the ring road heading both directions and only a 10 min drive to airport (there’s also a short bus ride to the airport as well). Our place is a 10-min drive to Tullamarine Airport and near to most of the old and new suburbs such as Glenroy, Pasco Vale, Fawkner, Essendon, Roxburgh Park, Cragieburn. Shops, schools and other establishments are also nearby. We are just 20min away from the city as well so it's really a convenient place.
This old home has an awesome calm atmosphere that is tangible, it's beautiful and I've furnished it in tune with the style. It's in a quiet street with neighbour friends, several PT options within reasonable distance; we are halfway between Brunswick and Coburg. It's a great place to live.
$215 includes all the bills, normal stuff like netflix, foxtel, nbn internet, plus all elec, gas, water, insurance, ect plus we get a cleaner that comes once a fortnight to clean the whole house! This awesome little town house in valley lakes/keilor east is in the perfect spot as long as you have a car. It’s sheltered from the hustle and bustle at the bottom of a nice relaxing valley, surrounded by a large lake, nice greenery and countless running tracks. It’s only a stones throw from the lake and has ample spots to chill and relax through summer. As soon as you’re up and out of the valley you find yourself on keilor rd to one side, full of restaurants and shops in nth essendon/niddrie and to the other side you find yourself in keilor east with heaps of popular cafes. Dfo is just across the highway and the 59 tram on keilor rd is not far away either making a trip into the city pretty easy! Tullamarine airport is only abot a 10min drive away. There’s currently two of us living here and we’re looking for one more easy going, happy, fun housemate to try and get a fun, social house going. The bigger of the two spare rooms on the ground floor is up for grabs, it shares a large size bathroom with one other housemate on the ground. The room can be furnished or unfurnished whatever suits you best. There is also a single car garage which is mostly free, we use it to store a few tools and have a bit of a small gym setup. I'm upstairs with my own bathroom. Upstairs is the main communal room with the kitchen/dinning and lounge with a large balcony that over looks the valley and lake which we often use for bbq’s or afternoon drinks. We are not in a huge rush to find a housemate but definitely looking for someone who is looking to stick around atleast 12 months. This brilliant townhouse is one of three on the block, and only a stone's throw from Sydney Rd. The house is split over two levels, with two lounge areas downstairs, one of which we frequently use as a home office, and bedrooms upstair. Both bedrooms have split system cooling/heating. The lounge area opens up onto a rear deck and courtyard which is north facing and gets lots of sun! There are bathrooms both upstairs and down, and we have a small bath too. The kitchen is large and modern and has loads of storage. We have a european laundry, so no treks to the laundrette. The house is about 3 mins walk to the number 19 Sydney Rd tram, 15 mins walk to Coburg or Moreland train station and ten minutes walk to Coburg shops. The tram takes about 10 mins to get to Brunswick and around 25 to the city. We are on a quiet street and there is free on-street parking. If you have a bike or scooter (like me) you can park in the courtyard which has a rear roller door. The house is airy and bright and full of warmth! The bedroom is 3.2 x 3.2m and very bright. It has a large double door built in robe with mirrors. The room is comfortably large enough to fit a queen bed, desk and tallboy. It has a split system aircon. The bond is $1402. Gas is average $20 each per month, electricity around $50-$70 each depending on the season, water is around $55 each quarterly. Internet is $30 each for broadband. Netflix/Stan/Prime is half each, depending on what services you use.
