Unfortunately Samantha, our flatmate of over two years, has decided to take up the opportunity to live with her best friend. This leaves us with both a gap in our hearts and a spare bedroom. About the apartment: Modern designed 3 bedroom apartment in leafy Clayfield. Situated on Oriel Rd toward the back of a small complex it's both quiet and tranquil yet close to everything. Short walk to cafes, restaurants and shops, only a 15 minute bus ride into the city centre and a 15 minute drive to the airport. The apartment features 3 decent sized bedrooms, two bathrooms (incl. ensuite), fully ducted airconditioning and modern fixtures and fittings. The level is shared with one other apartment and the communal pool and BBQ area, which is shared with the four other apartments in the complex. Stepping out from the decent sized living room brings you to the huge, private, and covered entertaining area. The large entrance to the outdoor area also provides a gateway for a nice breeze to flow through the apartment. The large kitchen is fitted out with gas cooktop, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and plenty of bench space. The large main bathroom is to be shared with one other, doubling as the laundry. We have two secure, undercover car spots, and currently our friendly neighbours are letting us use their spare as a third, however this isn't guaranteed long-term. Hey! I've just moved from Sydney to Brisbane for work (engineer) into a 2nd floor flat in a nice quiet street in Clayfield. It is a 2 bedroom with a single bathroom. The flat is a little old (some chips of paint on door frames), but is super cheap and is very cosy. It has lots of natural light in the living room and the main bedroom (yours) is large with built in cupboards. The bathroom is a little small and outdated, but has enough storage . The kitchen is neat and has all the essentials plus a large fridge and pantry space. There is a large garage downstairs with heaps of storage space + a washer and dryer. You really only need to bring enough to fill your room as the rest is already furnished. I'm very clean so would appreciate you being the same, and enjoy a few beers and train most days. Looking for a good room mate (male or female around the same age) to live with. I enjoy some quality Netflix and also the occasional MAFS/the bachelor so weekly wine night is a highly commended attribute. I also will respect your privacy and have lived in a share house with 5 people for two years before so understand the dynamic!
