Vinny and I live in the top floor apartment of a six apartment block. The apartment is spacious with awesome views. There's double glass doors that open onto the balcony allowing a constant view and airflow. And we get daily sunsets and sunrises :) We have the place decorated funky yet relaxed and its our happy place :) The room also has a beautiful view and double wardrobes. There's plenty or storage through the apartment and also in the garage if needed. There is a bus right outside our apartment block that goes straight into the Valley, as well as train stations just a 5 minute stroll away. Both Toombul and Lutwyche shops are close by as well and plenty of cafes and restaurants around the area. Also if you need a gym, there are several around the area as well. Hi there! My housemates and I are looking for an easy going, friendly and clean housemate to join our home! Unlike many units, our home is VERY spacious and has a number of different spaces for you to chill in. My favourite part of the home is the very large private outdoor area which has a beautiful view of the city. The kitchen has everything in it that you'll need, the living area is cosy and comfortable, there's a small BBQ on the deck and the shower is top notch. Your room has a built in cupboard and overlooks a garden. It's not a huge room but my sister (who is currently in it) fits a queen size bed and small desk in there quite comfortably. Our home is also in a great area - just a short walk to Albion train station, bus stops, a large number of great cafes (and the best bakery in Brisbane, 'Brewbakers', if I may say so myself!), a yoga studio and the Albion Hotel. Toombul shopping centre is just a short 5 minutes drive away and it's really close to the Brisbane River (Newstead). A drive to the city will only take you 15 minutes. The space is also REALLY quiet. We rarely hear our neighbours which we love! There's plenty of street parking, some storage space in the garage and the suburb itself is really safe! I love living here and know you will too!
