I am based in Cowandilla, about 10/15 minutes from the city on the bus, also close to the airport. Public transport is directly out the front of the property, and supermarkets are very near,about 5 minute walk. I work full time in the city and also travel for my job .My other housemate is male and working in construction. We also have a large dog. Siberian Husky cross Malamute. If you are scared of animals then this is not the place for you. I am looking for someone who is quiet, and easy to get along with, keeps the room neat and tidy and loves animals. ABOUT YOUR ROOM: Your room will be the smallest of the three, therefore your rent is the cheapest. It is on the west side of the house with a west facing window. The room currently comfortably fits a double bed, 2 dressers, 2 clothes racks and a shoe rack (it looks small but can fit quite a bit - I have photos with the furniture that's in there currently which I'm happy to send privately). It is right next to the bathroom and is the most private of the three rooms. ABOUT THE HOUSE: Our house is on a decent sized corner block, floor-boarded and freshly painted throughout. It's also super light and bright, particularly in the lounge and dining area which also has a split system a/c. We have a modern kitchen and laundry which are both fully equipped (we already have a washer, dryer and two fridges, however the washer isn't doing too well at the moment so we are looking into purchasing a new one - but if you have one that's great!), modern bathroom with seperate toilet plus a huge outdoor area, including an eight seater outdoor dining table and rumpus room with two couches, two arm chairs and our second fridge which we use as a drinks fridge. The house is great for entertaining so we do have friends over for drinks every now and then, particularly before heading out to events. ABOUT THE LOCATION: This house has the BEST location and we absolutely love living here because of it. A 3 minute walk from Hilton Plaza which has a Woolworths, pharmacy, post office, cafe, deli/butcher, news agency, sushi place etc. Pretty much everything you could ever need! It's also a 2 minute walk from the bus stop, Ubers to the city are RIDICULOUSLY cheap and always arrive within minutes, and we have so many amazing food places within walking distance and on Ubereats. ABOUT THE BILLS: Gas, water and electricity are all paid quarterly and split between the three of us. As the lease started in February there will be two more lots of bills around November and then at the end of the lease. We found they were all pretty reasonable/didn't get any nasty surprises. Rent is paid fortnightly. We do have unlimited Internet which would be $20 a month. BOND is actually $900 - I was not able to select that when putting up this ad.

This is a great location, 1.5km from Norwood Parade and 4 km from the city. 10 minute bus ride, bus stop just down the road. A fantastic spot for uni students or anyone working in the city. This is a solid house, cosy inside, big windows, quiet, with a big garden and lots of birds. Shady surroundings. Bills are included in the rent. Walking distance to Coles, Aldi, Foodland, multiple grocery stores and restaurants from around the world - Korean, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Middle Eastern, Mexican. The room for rent is my bedroom, as I am moving across the city for work. It's a great room - a very large main bedroom, with a huge walk-in robe and private ensuite bathroom. It's an amazing house - 4 bedrooms (one main, and then three others which are all the same size), a large living area, updated bathroom, modern kitchen with dishwasher. The backyard is large with a pergola/entertaining area, and a whole bunch of fruit trees. There's also a large garage out the back for extra storage. Cars can be kept off the street in a garage. Location is fantastic - within walking distance of the city. The rent of $195 p/w doesn't include bills, but they're shared (including internet etc) - between four of us, they haven't been too extreme! Main house rules: my housies are not looking for someone who is a crazy party person, but are all sociable people. They enjoy cooking and having friends round for dinner etc. Everyone is pretty relaxed but it's important that the place is kept neat and tidy (no one is nuts about cleaning, but mouldy plates in the sink is definitely not a good thing...) Rent etc is always paid promptly. Let me know if you have any other questions! You will need to be approved by the landlord but there shouldn't be any issues with that, I don't think.
