We have a 'pet' kookaburra called pidgie who visits daily. Dalkeith has some awesome parks and things to do. Claremont train station and UWA are a short walk or bike ride away. Bus route that goes into the city, uwa and claremont is only 100 meters away. The best part about the location is its peaceful, safe and in an area with no traffic. The house has plenty of character, was built in the 1950s and is on a huge block. We have unlimited internet, plenty of parking and an awesomely large backyard. We have an awesome power boat we take out a few times a month, several canoes and bikes which we share. Have plenty of beer fridge space and have the odd woodfire party out the back. Room is available from end of July to end of January - basically all of semester two! Our house is spacious, clean and the rooms are quite big. Room advertised comes with queen sized bed, bedside table and built-in wardrobe. It's a student house (so nothing's particularly fancy) but there is plenty of parking space, it's very close to UWA and the house has a great vibe. The WHITEHOUSE was fittingly named after our beloved house pet George Washington (its a peg octopus). Also the house is white. It is situated just a short little meander from UWA (15min walk), IGA (10min walk) and I guess Cap S (if you are young enough to find this enticing). If you drive, it is minutes away from these previously mentioned places and also about a 7minute drive to Claremont Quarter and 13 minutes to the beach! It is a beautiful, old style house (3x1.5) with high ceilings, massive rooms and an even more massive yard that is perfect for summer chill times. Given its an old house it gets a little chilly but nothing a woolen jumper can’t fix, other than that its really in excellent condition. Our Landlord it very reasonable and he likes us, so we have never really had a house inspection. He also helps out quite a lot in terms of taking care of our massive yard, which is handy if you struggle to keep pots plants alive like myself. And besides all these great qualities Nedlands is a brilliant place to live in general. Super leafy streets. The room: The room up for grabs is actually more like a two rooms. The first has a king size mattress (no frame) and a chest of draws. The second is a sun room with tonnes of natural light with a desk and wardrobe. We can remove all the furniture except the wardrobe if you are coming with your own stuff.

Location, location, location ... isn't that what a real estate agent would say? Close walk to UWA (less than 1km away), Matilda Bay and Kings Park. Convenient location for the avid cyclist, it's only a few quick bus stops to the city (uber/taxi less than $20), is close to QEII medical centre and conveniently located to Subiaco, Claremont, Cottesloe and Fremantle. It's also a generous size house with plenty of room for 2+ adults to move about and still have space. A renovated circa 1930's home with plenty of character and charm. It also has outdoor areas out front and back providing more personal space. While a 3 bed house I am only looking at one other person or two international students for the semester, which would then reduce the weekly rent per room/person to around $250 each. Students, mature (40+) and FIFO people welcome. While the place is fully furnished the option is there to provide an unfurnished bedroom if you want BYO bedroom.
