Hey guys, I unfortunately have to leave Melbourne beginning of May, leaving behind a great apartment and an awesome flat-mate We’re right outside of the CBD, close to the waterfront in Docklands. It is more quiet than the busy city but its very close and the waterfront is really nice for strolls or jogs, restaurants or coffee. The apartment on the 14th floor of one of the apartment buildings attached to the Etihad Stadium, you get the view of the water and the boats from the balcony. It’s also a 7 minute walk through the stadium grounds straight into Southern Cross Station (Perfect) and you have straight access to trams 86, 30, 70, 75 right outside on LaTrobe st. There’s also convenience shops, asian restaurants, a pharmacy, etc.. on the ground floor of the apartment buildings. Even better, there is a gym and a heated pool in the building for when you have the time for these afternoon laps or sunny swims. We keep the whole apartment clean. There’s a dishwasher but we rarely use it as dishes are usually washed everyday. The kitchen and living room are open and nice so clean works better. We have friends over on the weekend sometimes but it’s usually quite chill and quiet during the week. Ash is a 30-something dude who works as a banking manager, spins smoothies and cooks delicious pesto chicken pasta. He lived in Sydney for 16 years before this and recently moved too. I work in my room or on the balcony, and we often chill around dinner time. He got Foxtel so there’s good movie playing always and he loves to watch them. I do too, so it works well. But if you’re not in the mood, you can’t hear much in the bedroom anyway and its a good comfy space. The closet is all you need, i’ll leave the hangers and shelving unit. It also has a double-door sliding mirror, making the room look even bigger sometimes. The bed is a large and comfy queen size, and the girl who lived here before me had put on pretty lights already. I’ll be taking the sheets.. but the duvet, the pillows and the pretty cushions are all yours (: I think female energy in this house creates a good dynamic, and I guess would fit more the interest of the current room decoration. But if you’re a guy and you feel like this place could be a good fit, please feel free to call still The bathroom is really big and so much space for bathroom stuff, many large shelves, big mirror and bright lights. Ash keeps tidy and he’s a nice person, so it’s easy and comfortable living with him. He also got a washing machine and dryer, so no need for them coins! Ohh and the chair. I had a lot of studying and work to do on my computer, so I needed a good work chair to keep my back straight, and a motivation too tbh. I got a deal online and it came with a massage option. It really is a great chair and fits perfectly with the room (white was less easy to find -.-‘ I only got it a month ago so it makes it even sadder to have to leave already). It has multiple massage points and options. I was going to sell it, but if you want the whole thing, here’s a package: - The lamp ($50) - The white drawer set ($35) - A brand new pretty set of quit cover + pillow cases (it was a present from my aunt and I never used it) ($0) - White Ikea storage boxes ($15) - A perfect little fan fan (theres no window in this room although theres a lot of air in the living room- but the fan sure comes in handy) ($25) - AND the massage desk chair ($135) All of these are 2 months old. Total buying price was 260 and —> I’m letting it for $170 : that’s a great deal opportunity! But anyway, deal or not, what’s yours are my baby herb plants (basil, mint, coriander and parsley-they go deliciously with anything and if you take good care you won’t run out of them), a great living space, ideal location and beautiful sunset view (when it’s not raining!)
