Hey guys! I have recently had a job offer abroad so unfortunately now have to leave my room in Marrickville. The flat is a two bedroom apartment, one bathroom, and has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The kitchen is like new, with lots of cupboard space, gas cooking, and a large fridge. The lounge is also a decent size, with a small balcony leading off it. The bathroom is a good one too, with a bath, shower, and both a dryer and washer so you don't have to battle the weather trying to dry your stuff on a clothesline! There is also an iron for use. Location wise, we are located in Marrickville, though we are just a 5 minute walk from the Dulwich Hill Train Station (20min to CBD in the morning) and across the street from the 412 Bus into Martin Place. I was working in the city, and this location was absolutely amazing! Marrickville is also a nice neighbourhood with a lot of nice cafes, shops, and all the necessary amenities. The Residents: An adopted stray cat Frankie, we are guessing around 5 or 6yo, she rocks by mostly for the meal time and some cuddles, but mostly does her own thing, specially during summer when she loves to explore out and about! Tyson, an amazing hooman with billions of interests, from cooking and good food, music, photography and documentaries to much more, basically he can tell something interesting about everything! Adding there the most fun girlfriend, Lucy, who comes by always with amazing treats and the best laugh ever! Roxy, loving and caring hooman always up for a chat and a laugh, loves reading, watching movies (we are movies buddies), going to the beach and music. Boring bits: The rent for the whole time is 950 dollars, all included and paid upfront, that covers rent and bills, which is a steal over the Christmas time in Sydney! You: A normal hooman, who is social but has their own life, we do have somewhat regularly people over, specially on the weekends, as we all like to go out for a boogie, preferably house or techno, so you are ok with getting to know new people :) And generally just decent! we do not have any preference on gender or background everyone is welcome and you are LGBTIQ+ friendly. There is also a lot of storage under the house which is sealed and dry so perfect if you need to store some things. We get along with people from all walks of life.
