I have a room in my 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Dulwich Hill available for rent. You'll be living with me, meaning 2 people total. The room is unfurnished. It is big enough for a double bed and a dresser/desk, plus has a built-in sliding door wardrobe (mirrored). You'll have your own large bathroom which has both shower and bath. Apartment has its own interal laundry with washer and dryer. The living area is nice and spacious, opens out to a small balcony, and the whole apartment gets a lot of light. Thanks to its layout it doesn't get really hot in Summer or really cold in Winter (and it has reverse cycle air conditioning in the living area anyway). There is also a park right next to the building, and the development has a pool and common grassy areas. The apartment is part of a small development (approximately 50 apartments, split across multiple buildings so any one building only has 8 apartments in it) in a very quiet street in Dulwich Hill. It's only a few minutes walk to the light rail, about 10-15 minutes to the train, and about 10 minutes to buses. Any of those public transport options will get you into the city in under 20 minutes. The apartment is pet friendly, though I would need to get strata approval so would request that you tell me if you plan to bring a pet (or buy one). I'm very allergic to cats though, so no cats, sorry.

The unit is in a nice unit block just off New Canterbury Road, is walking distance to both Dulwich Grove and Dulwich Hill light rail/train station, buses to Newtown, the CBD and Burwood stop within 2 minutes of the unit and the complex has a pool as well! The property has off street parking in a twin garage as well as visitors parking spots and an outside clothes line area with washing lines. The room has a big built in wardrobe and can fit a double or a queen bed in it as well as other furnishings. The apartment itself is fully furnished with an inner laundry.
We have a large room in a huge Victorian house available for a sociable non-smoker who likes their space. The bedroom is the one in the picture, but comes unfurnished. That said, there is some spare furniture in the house that you can use and you can use the queen bed from the spare room while you get settled. You'll be sharing with 2 males and 1 female. The house has 4 bedrooms + guest room, 2 living spaces, 2 dining spaces, 3 bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a good sized deck with BBQ. We're close to buses, Lewisham train station and Waratah Mills light rail station. We're also close to Dulwich Hill shops, about 3km from Newtown and a short walk to Marrickville. Cycling into the city takes around 20-25 minutes. The rent is $260 per week + $40 for bills = $300 per week including bills. Bills include electricity, gas, water, unlimited internet and a cleaner every 2 weeks. Bills portion is perhaps a little high, but the house is very large to make up for it. We may be ok with a dog if you come with one, depending on breed, but not a cat sorry. We have 2 pet chickens. Great 2 bedroom spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms, just 15 minutes from the city. It is quite new and modern, fitted with state of the art appliances. It is also only a 2 minute walk to the bus station and an 8 minute walk to the train station if using public transport. It is a secure building with allocated underground basement parking. The apartment is fitted with unlimited internet which is included in the rent, as well as air conditioning for those hot summer nights.
You can have a good time with nice people and at the same time have you privacy. The area is rich on culture, history and good environment, close to newtown, marriville and the city. Car space and play station available as well. You will have a good time.
